Vikunja is an open-source to-do and task-management application for individuals, households, and organizations. It organizes work into projects and supports list, Kanban, Gantt, and table views, giving users several ways to plan and review tasks. Its task system includes recurring tasks, calendar-style recurrence rules, absolute and relative reminders, nested subtasks, parent-child relations, labels, priorities, saved filters, search, attachments, and rich-text or Markdown descriptions. It is available on web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, through an API, and as self-hosted software.
Pricing depends on whether you host Vikunja yourself or choose its managed cloud service. Self-hosting is available under the AGPLv3 license. The Personal plan costs €4 per month and includes unlimited lists, tasks, reminders, share links, relations, and filters, plus 10GB of attachment storage. Family costs €10 per month and supports up to 5 users with shared household projects. Organization costs €5 per user per month and adds unlimited teams, 50GB of attachment storage, and centralized team billing. A 14-day trial is available for the hosted service.
