Our verdict on Agentforce Public Sector (formerly Public Sector Solutions)
Salesforce Public Sector Solutions is a cloud CRM platform for government agencies managing constituent services and public-sector programs. It brings together case management, constituent records, digital forms, guided applications, self-service portals, omnichannel routing, workflow automation, analytics, and AI assistance. Agencies can apply it to benefits, grants, licensing, permitting, inspections, complaints, emergency response, social programs, and investigative casework. It is best suited to enterprise public-sector organizations that need a broad operating platform rather than a narrowly focused case-management tool.
Pricing is organized into five annual-billing editions. Public Sector Foundation Advanced Enterprise Edition costs $275 per user per month and includes configurable apps, digital service delivery tools, and low-code/no-code automation and AI. Advanced Unlimited Edition costs $500 and adds up to 200 custom objects and unlimited custom apps. Field Service Enterprise Edition costs $350 and adds field operations and asset management, while Field Service Unlimited Edition costs $600 and includes those capabilities, up to 200 custom objects, and up to 120 MB of data storage. Public Sector Service Agentforce 1 Edition costs $700 and adds Flex credits, Data Cloud connectivity to external data, and commercial infrastructure. A 30-day trial is available separately from the paid plans.
The platform runs on the web and through an API, with integrations for MuleSoft, Slack, Tableau, and Omnistudio. Its public-sector data models, identity verification audit trail, unified constituent views, and configurable workflows support varied agency processes, while deployment can use Salesforce commercial infrastructure or Government Cloud environments. The trade-off is scope and cost: organizations needing only a simple constituent database or lightweight case tracker may find these editions difficult to justify. Agencies with complex service delivery, field operations, multiple programs, or substantial automation needs are the stronger fit.
