Option 1: Add GIF Using Image Block

The fastest way to insert a GIF in a WordPress post or page is by using the Image block in the WordPress block editor. The following procedures and screenshot images will demonstrate how to achieve that.

  1. Start by logging into your WordPress website’s backend as an administrator. Then, on the left pane of the backend dashboard, click Posts or Pages, depending on where you wish to upload a GIF.
  1. After doing that, click the title of the page/post to where you want to add a GIF to open it. For this demonstration, I will be opening an untitled post on our WordPress website.
