In this Itechguide, Victor teaches you how to find Google search history.
Option 1: Find Search History from a PC or Mac
- Open MyActivity.Google.com from a browser on your PC or Mac computer.
- If you have not yet signed in to your Google account, you will be required to sign in.
- Finally, when the “My Google activity” page opens, scroll down. Your Google activities will be displayed by date. One of the sections displayed in every date is Search.
All searches will be displayed beneath the google domain you performed the search. In this example, I performed 2 searches on Google.com today by 12.57.
- To delete the search, click the more options on the top right of the domain. Then, from the displayed options, click Delete.
- To manage how Google keeps your searches, click Activity controls.
- Then, on the Activity controls page, under Web & App Activity, click MANAGE ACTIVITY.
- Finally, to stop Google from recording your searches, click Change settings. However, to set how long your search history is kept, click the second option.
Option 1: Find Search History from the Android App
- Open Google App on your Android phone.
- Then, on the bottom right of the app, tap the More tab.
- On the More page, tap Search activity. The link will open on a new browser window.
- Finally, on the My Activity page, scroll down – your Google searches will be displayed. To delete a search history, tap the 3 dots on the top right of the search record and select Delete – see the second image below.
Option 2: Find Search History from the iPhone App
To perform the steps in this section, you have to install the Google Search app on your iPhone.
- Open the Google App on your iPhone.
- Then, on the bottom right of the app, tap the More tab.
- On the More tab, tap Search activity.
- Finally, on the Search activity screen, scroll down. Your Google search history will be displayed.
In this screenshot, I searched for “how to find Google search history” and “how to recover deleted facebook messages”.
