This Itechguide teaches you how to change business name on Facebook.
The guide assumes that you have a business Facebook account. It also assumes that you want to change the name of your business in your Facebook business account and/or change the name of your Facebook business Page.
Option 1: Change Business Name for a Facebook Business Account
If you have a Facebook business account and like to change the name of your business, use the steps in this section. If you want to change the name of your business Facebook Page, click here to take you to the next section.

- Open Business.Facebook.com from your PC. Then, if you have not yet signed in, sign in with your Facebook account.
- On the top right of your Facebook Business Manager page, click Business Settings. The link will open in a new browser tab…
- Scroll down the left pane of the Business Settings page. Then click Business Info.
- Then, on the top right of Business Manager info page (beside your current business name), click Edit.
- The current name of your business will be displayed. Type a new name in the field. Then, on the far right, click Save.
Option 2: Change Business Name for a Facebook Page
This section covers steps to change the name of the Facebook Page for your business.

If you are looking to change the name of a Facebook Page not managed from a Business account, click How to Change Facebook Page Name.
- Open Business.Facebook.com from your PC. Then, login with your Facebook account.
- When Business Manager opens, scroll down to Pages section. Then click on the Facebook Page you want to change name for. The Facebook Page will open in a new browser tab.
- On the left pane of the Facebook Page, click the About tab. If the tab takes look long to load, refresh the page (press F5 on your keyboard).
- When About page opens, scroll down to the GENERAL section. Then, beside Name, click Edit.
- Then, on the Request new Page name pop window, enter a new name for your Facebook Page. To proceed to the next step, beneath the pop up window, click Continue.
- Finally, on the Confirm name change request pop up, review the old and new names. If you are happy with the change you are about to request, click Request Change.
- Facebook will process your request and either accept or reject the request.
