Starting in my review of the best writing apps, at no 5 is “Writer Plus”.

“Writer Plus” offers a simple user interface design. The app can be used to write essays, poems, drafts, novels, and more. You can use the app to open, edit and save plain text files.

It also supports Bluetooth keyboards. The app works with most Bluetooth keyboards – offering commonly used keyboard shortcuts. The app has a night mode.

Finally, this app caps it up with its support for multiple languages. The app supports English, German, Chinese, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Polish, and Portuguese.

“Writer Plus” is free to install but offers in-app purchases. It is available on Google Play with a 4.6 rating.

Grammarly Keyboard

At no 4 in my review of the best writing apps is “Grammarly Keyboard”.

Grammarly has some exciting features. Firstly, it offers a grammar checker. This helps you to improve your sentence construction. It checks punctuation errors, incorrect spellings, grammar errors and more. It also offers synonyms and text suggestions.

Secondly, the app integrates with all your apps. If there is an app on your phone that requires typing, Grammarly works in all. This helps you deliver the correct sentences in your writtings or articles.

Finally, this app offers light and dark themes. This improves the user experience for smooth navigation during the day and night. It also supports swipe typing – to help you compose words faster.

“Grammarly Keyboard” is free to install but offer in-app purchases. It has a 4.3 rating on the App Store and on Google Play.

JotterPad

Coming 3rd in my review of the best writing apps is “JotterPad”.

This app has loads of cool features but one of the outstanding of them is its fine text design. You can use the app to write essays, novels, books, lyrics, and more. It offers a smooth interface – making it very easy to navigate and use.

“JotterPad” also offers a connection to cloud services. Once you connect the app to a cloud service such as Google Drive or Dropbox, you can work from anywhere. Even when you work offline, the app with sync your work to the cloud when you are back online.

There is one more feature I think will be of interest – its customization settings. You can adjust the themes and appearance of the app to your desire. It also offers a dictionary to check meaning of words and phrases.

Furthermore, you can easily export your documents to word or PDF formats for easy sharing. All these features make JotterPad one of the best writing apps.

“JotterPad” is free to install but offers in-app purchases. It is available on Google Play with a 4.5 rating.

Google Docs

Taking the 2nd spot in my review of the best writing apps is “Google Docs”.

The first most tantalizing feature of this app is its smart editing tools. With these tools, you can easily compose a great text document with smooth layouts. You can change fonts, add links, images and more to your text.

Another notable and important feature of this app is its automatic saving function. Once you begin typing, it automatically saves your work. It also allows you to see the old versions of your documents with the date and time the version was created.

The final feature that makes this app unique is its accessibility to multiple devices. You can create a document on your phone, edit it on your tablet, and finish the document on your computer.

In addition, you can research within the app with Explore from Google searches and get inspiration for your writeups.

“Google Docs” offers free installation with a 4.4 rating on Google Play. It is also available on the App Store with a 4.8 rating.

Microsoft Word

“Microsoft Word” is no 1 in my review of the best writing apps.

This app has a lot of amazing features. The first feature that I love is its user interface. The app is so straightforward – you can easily create, edit, and share a word document in no time.

It also comes with fine editing tools. The app offers layouts, fonts, headers, color, adding images, and more tools. This makes it perfect to create blog posts, documents, resumes, and more.

Finally, the app offers a PDF reader. With this, you can read PDF files and e-books. You can also edit PDFs by converting them to word document. Once you are done, you can save the documents in PDF formats and easily share them.

“Microsoft Word” offers free installation. It has a 4.6 rating on the App Store and a 4.4 rating on the Google Play
