In New York City, a narrow-minded writer Melvin Udall goes about his daily life having little connection with his neighbors. When one of his neighbors is admitted to the hospital, Melvin is left to care for the neighbor’s dog.
Moreover, following an incident, Melvin was forced to come out of his isolated life. Subsequently, Melvin ends up forming an unlikely friendship with his neighbors.

At no 7 in my pick is “Undefeated”.
The story-line of the movie is about a high school football team trying to reach the school’s first-ever playoff game. Despite lacking the standard facilities, with little support, the coach of the football team tries to lead his team to victory.
Meanwhile, in the process, there comes drama among the team. The movie is an exciting story with uplifting moments – “Undefeated” is a documentary based on a true story.
“Undefeated” is fine production – making it one of the best Parental Guide movies for 13-year-olds to watch on Netflix. For the best entertainment, add the movie to your watch-list.

Taking the 6th spot in my pick of the best PG 13 movies on Netflix “The Perks of Being a Wallflower”.
The movie is about an introvert freshman Charlie who struggles with depression. Moreover, while navigating his relationship with his first love, Charlie has to deal with his friend’s suicide.
Consequently, while troubled in his mind, Charlie became friends with two older people – Sam and Patrick. Gradually, with his new friends, Charlie gets to understand how the world works.

Following this event, Albert enlists to serve in the British army to fight in the war. Subsequently, Albert finds himself in the front-line of the war where he is about to make an unlikely reunion with his horse.

Coming 4th in this list is “The Theory of Everything”.

“Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” is about a teenage boy Scott who plays in an aspiring band. When his girlfriend dumped him, Scott struggles to get over the break-up. In the meantime, he dates a high school girl who plays in a successful band.
Subsequently, Scott falls in love with a delivery girl Ramona. However, to win over Ramona to himself, Scott has to defeat Ramon‘s seven ex-boyfriends in martial art combat.

Finally, at no 1 in my pick of the best Parental Guide 13 movies movies on Netflix is “The Social Network”.
The movie is about Mark Zuckerberg (the founder of Facebook) as he rises to become a global personality. During his time at Harvard University, Mark conceives the idea to create a social network. Within 6 years Mark created a global social network – a creative way for people around the world to interact.
However, while the social network increase in its popularity, it leads to a drama between Mark Zuckerberg, the twins (that claimed Zuckerberg stole the idea from them), and the co-founder of Facebook. Moreso, Mark has to deal with some legal inquiry facing his social platform.
“The Social Network” is an outstanding production. If you want to have an amazing experience on Netflix, you need to see this movie. It is available now on Netflix.
