What is Google Jamboard?
Google Jamboard is a 55-inch digital whiteboard that works with G Suite and offers real-time collaboration.
To use Jamboard, you need to sigh up for one of the G Suite subscriptions – G Suit Basic, Business, Enterprise, G Suite for Education or G Suite Enterprise for Education.

An item created on a Jamboard is called a jam. You can add, edit, or share a jam from a computer, phone or tablet. You can also add Google Sheets, Docs, or Slides to a jam.

State-of-the-art Touchscreen Technology
A Jamboard supports touchscreen and high tech visuals – supports a touch scan rate of 100 Hz, 55″ monitor with 4K UHD and a 32 ms single-touch. In a lay mans language, this means that a Jamboard comes with quick-response touch-screen technology.
Whiteboard Support
Just like a traditional whiteboard, a Jamboard allows you to sketch your ideas. However, it does more – you can write, move or resize your ideas with your finger. Or write with the stylus and wipe with the eraser. These accessories (stylus and eraser) do not require a battery, meaning that you do not need to charge them. You also do not need to pair them via Bluetooth.

Google Jamboard whiteboard has more features – bring your drawing to live by choosing from multiple toolbar brushes. It also has a crop tool that allows you to add web pages to your jam.
Presentation, Connection and Conferencing Tools
Google Jamboard comes with all the tools you need to collaborate effectively. You can connect your laptop to the Jamboard via the USB-c or HDMI ports. Moreover, you can use the Jamboard’s touchscreen to control your connected laptop’s screen.

If you are online, you can search and insert royalty-free images from Google images. You can also drag and resize texts and images with your finger. However, the Jamboard comes with a stylus which you can use to write and draw as well.
