Our verdict on Dealer-Mate
Dealer-Mate is dealer management and CRM software for automotive and specialty dealerships, including car, motorcycle, RV, marine, truck, and equipment dealers. It brings together internet lead management, showroom control, BDC, desking, reporting, inventory, financing, loan servicing, websites, parts, service, and dealer operations. Small dealerships that want one system across sales, finance, service, and inventory are the clearest fit, while its multi-location support also suits organizations managing more than one site.
Pricing is structured around deployment choice. Cloud Monthly costs $119 per month, while Cloud Quarterly is listed at $99 per month and Cloud Annual at $79 per month with annual billing. Local Desktop Monthly costs $65 per month, and Local Area Network deployment costs $350 one time. A 30-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan. The cloud plans include cloud or web-based dealer management software, and Cloud Monthly includes the option to cancel anytime. This range gives smaller dealers a lower-cost local option alongside cloud access from web, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.
Its ecosystem is a major part of the product’s value. Dealer-Mate connects with DataOne, Kelley Blue Book, 700Credit, Plaid, DocuSeal, QuickBooks, dealer websites, and lender platforms. Inventory can be uploaded to a website and third-party listings, while loan origination, credit verification, recurring payments, payment reminders, parts, work orders, and task scheduling extend beyond core CRM use. Dealers seeking connected operations should consider Dealer-Mate; teams that only need lead tracking or a narrowly focused scheduling tool may prefer a simpler alternative.
