Step 1: Copy the URL of the Video

The first step to download YouTube video without software is to copy the URL of the video. Here are the steps:

  • Open the YouTube video you want to download from YouTube.com.
  • Then right-click the video and select Copy video URL – this is the first option in the right-click list. See the image below.

  • Then paste the YouTube Video URL on the search box. The tool will open another page. Ignore the page and return to the page below. The website will automatically detect the video details.
  • Scroll down a bit to see the video details. Then, beside the video, click Best Down / 369P MP4. The video will open in a new page.
  • Hover over the video. Then click the 3 dots beneath the video and select Download.
  • The tool will open a Save as pop up. Select a location to save the video on your computer. Then click Save.
  • The video download is very quick. Here is the video playing offline.
