Before you delete your account, download the data you want to keep. When you are happy to proceed, follow the steps below to delete Google account.
- Open myaccount.google.com – if you have not signed in before, on the top right of the page, click Sign in. You could also click the Sign in at the bottom of the page.
- Then, on the sign in page, enter your Google email address and click Next.
- On the next page, enter your password and click Next.
- When your My Google Account page opens, on the left pane click Data and personalization.
- Then scroll down to the Download, delete, or make a plan for your data section and click Delete a service or your account.
- On the Delete a service or your account page, click Delete your account. You will be required to confirm your password before you continue.
- On the password confirmation page, enter your Google password and click Next.
- Finally, to delete Google account, on the Delete your Google Account, page read the information carefully. Then, scroll down, agree to the 2 license agreements and click DELETE ACCOUNT.
