Option 1: Change Mouse Sensitivity from Windows Settings
- Right-click the Windows 10 Start menu. Then, from the displayed options, click Settings.
- When the Windows Settings opens, click Devices.
- On the left pane of the Devices settings screen, click Mouse.
- Then, on the Mouse Settings screen, scroll down to the Related settings section and click Additional mouse options. This will open the mouse settings for your PC.
- On the Mouse Properties, click the Pointer Options tab.
- Finally, to change mouse sensitivity, move the Select a pointer speed slider.
- When you finish adjusting the sensitivity of your mouse, to save your changes, on the bottom left of your Mouse Properties, click OK.
- To adjust how quickly your mouse responds to Double-click, click the Buttons tab.
- Then, on the Double-click speed section, move the Speed slider and click OK.
Option 2: Adjust Mouse Sensitivity from Control Panel
- Type control panel in the search box. Then, from the search results, click Control Panel.
- On the top right of Control Panel, type mouse in the search box and press enter. This will search for all Control Panel items related to mouse.
- On the search results, below Mouse, click Change the mouse pointer display or speed. The mouse properties for your device will open.
- On the Mouse Properties, click the Pointer Options tab.
- Finally, to change mouse sensitivity on Windows 10 from control panel, move the Select a pointer speed slider to your preferred sensitivity level and click OK.
- To adjust the Double-click sensitivity of your mouse, click the Buttons tab.
- Finally, to adjust the Double-click sensitivity of your mouse, on the Double-click speed section, move the Speed slider.
- To save your changes, click OK.
