In this Itechguide, Victor teaches you how to change icon size on Windows 10.

Option 1: Change Desktop Icon Size

  1. Right-click an empty space on your Windows 10 desktop and point to View.
  2. From the View options, select Large icons, Medium icons (default) or Small icons.
When you select a desktop icon size, the icon size of items on your Windows 10 desktop will adjust immediately.

Option 2: Change Icon Size for Files and Folders

When you change the size of desktop items, it does not affect the icon size of files and folders in File Explorer. To modify the icon size of files and folders in File Explorer, follow the steps below.

  1. Right-click the Windows 10 Start menu and click File Explorer.

Before you select a view, hover over it – Windows 10 will display a preview – see the second image below for the Extra Large icons preview.

Option 2: Change Taskber Icon Size

You can also resize the size of icons on your taskbar. Unfortunately, you can only make the icons smaller. Here are the steps to change the size of icons on your taskbar…

  • Right-click an empty space on your taskbar. Then, from the displayed options, click Taskbar Settings.
