In this Itechguide, Victor teaches you how to block someone on LinkedIn.
Option 1: Block Someone via LinkedIn.com
- Login to your LinkedIn.com account from a browser on your Mac or PC.
- Then, open the profile of the person you want to block.
- On the top right of the person’s profile, click the More… button. Then, from the displayed options, click Report/Block. A pop up window will be displayed.
- On the displayed pop-up window, click Block <the person’s name>. You will be required to confirm that you want to block the person.
- On the bottom right of the block profile confirmation pop-up, tap Block.
Option 2: Block Someone Through the Android App
- Open the LinkedIn app on your Android phone.
- Then, open the profile of the person you want to block.
- On the person’s profile, tap the 3 dots beside MESSAGE (more menu). Some options will be displayed at the bottom of the app.
- From the displayed options, tap Report or Block – new options will be displayed.
- On the What do you want to do pop-up, tap Block <the person’s name>. You will be required to confirm that you want to block the account.
- Finally, to block someone on LinkedIn, on the bottom right of the block confirmation pop-up, tap Block.
Option 3: Block Someone Using the iPhone App
- Open the LinkedIn app on your iPhone. Then, open the profile of the person you want to block.
- On the person’s profile, tap More…Some options will be displayed on the bottom of the app.
- Then, on the bottom of the displayed options, tap Report or Block. A new set of options will be displayed.
- From the displayed options, tap Block <the person’s name>. A final confirmation will be required.
- Finally, to block someone on LinkedIn, on the bottom right of the confirmation pop-up, tap Block.
