How to Add Fonts to Windows 10 from %windir%\fonts Folder

• Type %windir%\fonts in the search box. Then, from the search results, click %windir%\fonts

• When the Fonts folder opens, locate the font you want to install, right-click it and select Install.

• When the font is installed, the Fonts will open in Control Panel. Here you can preview, delete, show or hide installed fonts.

How to Add Fonts to Windows 10 from a Downloaded Font or Microsoft Store

If you downloaded a font or want to add a font from the Microsoft Store, follow the steps below…

• Right-click Start menu and click Settings.

• Then, on Windows Settings, click Personalization.

• On the left pane of the Personalization settings screen, click Fonts.

• To add or install a font you downloaded or a font in the %windir%\fonts folder, drag the font from the folder to Drag and drop to install.

• The font will be installed. Then, the Control Panel Fonts settings will open.

• Alternatively, to install a font from Microsoft Store, click Get more fonts in Microsoft Store link. Microsoft Store will open and display all available fonts.

• Click on the font you want to add to your PC. The font’s details page will open.

• On the font’s details page, to add fonts to Windows 10 from Microsoft Store, click Get. Then, wait for the font to download and install – see the second image below.

• When the font is installed, if you want to manage the font, on the top right of the details page, click Manage. This will open the Fonts settings screen.

• To manage the font you just installed, scroll down to Available fonts section, locate the font and click on it.
