This Itechguide teaches you how to fix the “Email Address Doesn’t Match Invitation” Adsense Error.
Solution 1: Open Verification Link in Incognito or Private Mode
The first method to fix this error is to open the email verification link in Incognito Window (Chrome) or Private Window (Firefox).
- Open the email you were sent the AdSense verification link. Then, right-click the link and select Copy link address.
- Now open the browser you received the error message and open Incognito or Private window.
- For Chrome, on the top right of the Chrome browser, click the menu. Then click the New incognito window.
- If you use Firefox, click the menu (top right of the browser). Then click New Private Window.
- When the browser opens Incognito or Private window, paste the verification link you copied from your email and press enter key to open the link. The first page of AdSense verification page will open.
- Click Sign in as <your-email-address> to access this AdSense account link.
- Then, on the next page, verify that the email address displayed is the new email you added to your AdSense account. If it is correct, click Next.
- When the password page opens, type the password for the email address. Then, click Next.
- Your AdSense verification will be successfully! You can now login to the AdSense account with the new email.
Solution 2: Open Verification Link in a Different Browser
The second method to fix this AdSense error message is to open the verification link in another browser.

As an example, if you signed into AdSense from Chrome to add the new email, open the verification link in Firefox or Opera browser.
Here are the first few steps to use this method to fix “Email Address Doesn’t Match Invitation”:
- Open the email with the AdSense verification link. Then, right-click the link and click Copy link address.
- Open the new browser and paste the link. When the link opens, click the sign in link and proceed the way you did before you received the error message.
- Once you complete the verification in a different browser, it will be successful.
