Our verdict on vBoxxCloud

vBoxxCloud is a business cloud storage and file-sharing service for organizations, freelancers, and small businesses. It synchronizes files across web, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, while supporting team folders, granular permissions, password-protected sharing, public links, and selective or offline synchronization. File version recovery, deleted-file recovery, remote wipe, two-factor authentication, and device management make it suited to teams that need more administrative control than a basic file-sharing service. Private-cloud and on-premises deployment options also support organizations with specific infrastructure requirements.

Pricing is split between a per-user component and optional storage add-ons. The Basic user component costs €9.90 per user per month with monthly billing or €8.80 per user per month when billed annually, with full feature access, SSL encryption, online document editing, advanced admin controls, unlimited guest users, and personal support. Storage add-ons cost €4.40 per 250GB per month monthly or €3.30 per 250GB per month annually, adding an organization storage pack, continuous backup, unlimited version control, and unlimited file-size uploads. The Team plan costs €108.90 per month for 12–49 users and includes 500GB–1TB of free storage. Enterprise costs €415.80 per month for more than 50 users, with a user discount and 2TB of free storage. A 14-day free trial is available.

The platform fits Microsoft-centered and directory-managed environments through Microsoft Office, Outlook, Active Directory, LDAP, and WebDAV integrations. Online Word, Excel, and PowerPoint editing keeps document work within the service, while synchronization and device controls cover distributed teams. Its security and administration feature set is a strong reason to consider it, particularly for teams that need private deployment, activity monitoring, security policies, and recovery controls. Teams seeking a free starting tier, built-in AI features, or a simpler storage-only service should consider alternatives; vBoxxCloud is better suited to organizations willing to pay for governance and deployment flexibility.
