Our verdict on Sage Sales Management

Sage Sales Management is a cloud CRM for B2B sales teams, particularly representatives who work in the field. It brings together account and contact management, leads, opportunity pipelines, activities, calls, calendars and tasks. Field teams can use geolocated visits, route planning and offline access, while dashboards and sales activity analytics support pipeline oversight. The platform is available on web, iOS and Android, with API access and Sage Copilot AI features for voice reporting, summaries and sales insights.

The paid offering has four plans with different levels of sales, collaboration and customization capability. Essential covers CRM accounts, contacts and opportunity pipelines, calendars and tasks, geolocated visits, activity and call tracking, Microsoft Teams and Zoom integration, and Sage Copilot. Starter focuses on email and calendar synchronization, team activity tracking, an AI voice assistant, business-card scanning, analytics and basic API access. Professional adds ERP and custom integrations, geolocated opportunities, multi-currency, dynamic forms, CSV import, GoalManager and NewsManager. Performance is aimed at more customized operations, with multiple pipelines, custom widgets and validations, Active Directory integration, custom branding, smart voice reporting, quotes and orders, and Sales Campaigns. A 15-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan.

Its strongest fit is with organizations that need field-sales workflows alongside Sage business systems such as Sage 50, Sage 200 or Sage X3. Microsoft 365, Outlook Exchange, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, WhatsApp, Mailchimp, Zendesk, Zapier and Make extend its connections beyond the Sage ecosystem. Teams can choose it for mobile selling, offline work, route planning and sales reporting across a connected business stack. A free CRM, a narrower contact-management tool or a team without field-sales and Sage-related needs may be better served by another option.
