Our verdict on Alloy Navigator
Alloy Navigator is an IT service management and IT asset management platform for medium and large organizations. It brings service desk ticketing, incident and problem management, SLA tracking, asset and network inventory, knowledge management, self-service requests, workflow automation, reporting, and mobile access into one system. Employees can submit and track requests through the Self-Service Portal, while technicians manage tickets, approvals, assets, and workflows. Its focus suits teams that need service operations and asset records together rather than a ticketing tool alone.
Pricing is structured by technician and billed annually. Explorer costs $19 per technician per month for up to 3 technicians and includes unlimited requesters, IT help desk functions, asset management, a knowledge base, and the Self-Service Portal. Express costs $49 per technician per month for 4 or more technicians and adds change management, approvals, and consumables while retaining Explorer features. Enterprise costs $89 per technician per month for 4 or more technicians and adds ITIL, configuration management and CMDB, and project management. A free trial is advertised, while cloud hosting may incur additional fees.
The platform supports web, iOS, Android, API, and self-hosted deployment options. Its listed integration path is an API, so organizations should assess whether that fits their existing ecosystem and automation needs. The feature set is broad, covering service-level management, approval workflows, dashboards, analytics, reporting, and mobile access, with AI features also listed. Explorer may suit smaller technician teams that prioritize assets and core service desk functions; Express adds operational controls, while Enterprise is aimed at organizations needing ITIL, CMDB, and project management. Teams seeking a permanent free plan or a wider catalog of named integrations should consider alternatives.
