In this Itechguide, Victor teaches you how to sign out of Google.
Option 1: Sign Out via a PC
- Open Gmail.com from the same browser you already signed in to Google.
- Then, on the top right of Gmail, click your Google profile picture.
All Google accounts you are currently signed in to will be displayed.
- From the displayed options, click Sign out. If you are signed in to more than one Google account on the browser, tap Sign out of all accounts.
You will be signed out of your Google Account(s) without any further confirmation request.
Option 2: Remove Google Account from Android
- Open the Settings app on your Android device.
- Then, on the Settings app, scroll down and tap Accounts and backup.
- On the Accounts and backup screen, tap Accounts.
- Then, on the Accounts screen, tap the Google account you want to remove from the device.
As I mentioned at the beginning of this section, the only way to sign out from an Android device is to remove the Google account from the device.
- Finally, on the Google account’s settings screen, tap Remove. Then confirm that you wish to remove the account from the device.
Option 3: Remove Google Account from iPhone
To perform the steps in this section, you need to either install the Google search app or Chrome on your iPhone. I am using the Google search app for demo.
- Open Google Search app or Google Chrome app on your iPhone.
- Then, on the top right of the app, tap your Google account profile picture.
- On the Google Account screen, tap Mange accounts on this device.
- Finally, to sign out of Google (remove a Google account from iPhone), on the Manage accounts screen, beneath the account you want to remove, tap Remove from this device.
