This Itechguide teaches you how to repost on Facebook. The guide offers steps to repost on Facebook from the Facebook Mobile App or from a PC.
Option 1: Repost Through a PC
- Open Facebook.com from your PC and login with your Facebook account.
- Then locate the post you want to repost or share – you can repost on another person’s timeline. You could also repost on a Facebook page.
- Scroll down beneath the post. On the right side of the post, beside Comment button, click Share.
- When you click Share, you will be presented with share options. To proceed, select an option. If you want to modify the share settings, from the options click Share.
- The post will display in a pop up window – allowing you to modify where it is shared, and whether it will be shared to Public, your friends, etc. After modifying the post share details, click Post.
- To repost on Facebook from a Facebook page, open the page and locate the post you want to repost. Scroll down beneath the post and click Share.
- Then from the list of Share options, select one. If you want to repost to your timeline, click Share.
- On the top left of Post pop up, click the drop-down and select where you want to repost the post. In this example, I want to repost to my timeline. Then, beneath the post, select who will see your post – default will depend on your Privacy setting. When you finish, click Post.
Option 2: Repost via the App
If you use Facebook App, here are steps to repost an existing post…
- Open the Facebook App on your phone.
- Then locate the post you want to repost.
