Option 1: Logout of Google Play from Android
This is a 2-step process…
Step 1: Determine the Google Account You Use in Play Store
- Open the Play Store App on your Android phone.
- Then, on the top left of Play Store App, tap the 3 lines.
- The account you use for Play Store will be listed beneath your profile icon.
Step 2: Remove the Account from Your Android Phone
- Open the Settings App on your Android phone or device.
- Then, scroll down the list of Settings Apps and tap Accounts and backup.
- On the Accounts and backup screen, tap Accounts.
- From the listed accounts, locate the Google account you use for Google Play Store and tap it.
Before you proceed to the next and final step, note that removing a Google Account from your phone may affect other Google Services. All messages and contacts associated with the account may also be deleted.
- Finally, when the Google Account opens, tap Remove account.
- Finally, to confirm that you want to remove the account from your Android device and logout of Google Play, tap Remove account.
- Once you remove the account from your device, you will no longer be logged in to Google Play.
Option 2: Logout of Google Play from a PC or Mac
- Open Play.Google.com from your PC or Mac.
- Then, on the top right of your Play Store page, click your account profile icon.
- Scroll down to the bottom of displayed options and click Sign out of all accounts.
- Without any further option to confirm the sign out, you will be signed out off all accounts and out of Play Store.
