This Itechguide teaches you how to follow someone on Pinterest. The guide covers steps to follow someone on Pinterest from a PC, Android or iPhone.
Option 1: Follow Someone Using a PC (Pinterest.com)
- Open Pinterest.com from your PC. Then, if you have not yet signed in, sign in with your Pinterest account.
- Type the name of the person you want to follow in to Pinterest search. Then, from the displayed suggestions, select a name.
- In this example, I typed powershell into the search bar and selected powershell from the suggestions. Pinterest will display search results.
- On the right side of the search bar, click the All Pins drop-down. Then, from the displayed options, select People. Pinterest will now display only people’s profiles in the search result.
- From the list of displayed profiles, click the name of the person you want to follow. The person’s profile will open.
- Finally, to follow someone on Pinterest, on the top right of the person’s profile, click the Follow button. The button will change from Follow to Following – indicating that you are now following this person!
Option 2: Follow Someone via an Android Device
- Open Pinterest App on your Android device. Then, if you have not yet signed in, sign in with your Pinterest account.
- At the bottom of the App, tap Search tab – second tab from left, next to Home tab.
- Search the name of the person you are looking to follow. Then tap the People tab. Pinterest will now display names of people that match your search.
- From the displayed result, tap the name of the person you want to follow. The person’s profile will be displayed.
- Finally, to follow someone on Pinterest, beneath the person’s profile, tap Follow button. You will start Following the person. The Follow button will change to Following.
Option 3: Follow Someone Using an iPhone
- Open the Pinterest App on your iPhone. Then, if you have not yet signed in, sign in with your Pinterest account.
- At the bottom of the App, tap the search tab.
- On top of the search tab, type the name of the person into the search bar. Then, to display just Pinterest profiles, click People.
- From the displayed search results, tap the name of the person you want to follow.
- Finally, to follow someone on Pinterest, beneath the person’s profile name, tap Follow. Once the Follow button changes to Following you are now following the person!
