You can find your phone number from both the Settings and Contacts apps on iPhone and Android. Read the detailed steps for each option below.
Option 1: Find Your Phone Number with Settings App (iPhone)
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone. If you have a lot of apps on your home screen, swipe down on your home screen and search settings.
- Then, on the Settings screen, scroll down and tap Phone.
- Your phone number will be displayed as “My Number”. Some of the numbers may be hidden. To view the full number, tap My Number.
- Your full phone number will be displayed. If you changed your SIM but the number is not automatically updated here, you can update the number. Then, on the top right of the My Number screen, tap Save.
Option 2: Find Your Phone Number with Contacts App (iPhone)
- Open the phone dialer on your iPhone.
- Then, on the bottom of the phone dialer app, tap Contacts.
- On the Contacts screen, tap My Card.
I performed this demo with iOS 13 – this may be different for older iOS versions.
- Your phone number will be displayed beneath the phone.
This number is pulled from Settings – if the number in settings is incorrect, this number will be incorrect.
Option 3: Find Your Phone Number with Settings App (Android)
- Open the Settings app on your Android device.
- Then, scroll down to the bottom of the Settings screen and tap About phone.
Some Android phones and OS versions may display About.
- Your phone number will be displayed on the Phone number section of About phone screen.
Option 4: Find Your Phone Number with Contacts App (Android)
- Tap the phone dialer on your Android phone.
- Then, on the bottom of your phone dialer, tap Contacts.
- On the Contacts tab, tap your name.
- Your phone number will be displayed in your profile.
