Option 1: Find IP Address from Network and Sharing Center
- Type control panel in the Windows 10 search. Then, from the search result, click Control Panel.
- When Control Panel opens, click Network and Internet.
- Then click Network and Sharing Center.
- Finally, click Change adapter settings. All Network cards on your computer will be listed.
- Click on the network adapter you want to check the IP address.
- When the Status of the adapter open, click Details. The IP address of the adapter will be displayed as IPv4 address – see the second image below.
Option 2: Find IP Address from Network Status
- Type Network Status in the search bar. Then open Network Status from the search result.
- On the Network status screen, click Change connection properties.
- Finally, scroll down to the Properties section of the Network profile. The IP address will be displayed as IPv4 address.
Option 3: Find IP Address with Command Prompt
- Type command prompt in the search box. Then, from the search result, click Command Prompt.
- On Command Prompt, type the command below and click the enter key on your keyboard.
IPCONFIG
- The command will display basic information about all the network adapters on your PC. The IP address for each adapter will be displayed as IPv4 address.
Option 4: Find IP Address with PowerShell
- Type powershell in the Windows 10 search box. Then, from the search results, click Windows PowerShell.
- On Windows PowerShell prompt, type the command below and press the enter key on your keyboard.
Get-NetIPAddress
- The command will display information about all network adapters on your PC. The IP address of a network adapter will be displayed as IPAddress.
