How to Change Yahoo Mail Password

Option 1: Change Password from a PC

• Open Yahoo Account security page from a browser on your PC. Then, type your Yahoo email address and click Next.

• On the next page, enter your password and click Next. Your Account Security page will open.

• On the right side of the page, click Change password.

• Finally, on the Set a new password page, type your new password in the New password field. Then, retype the password in the Confirm new password field and click Continue.

Option 2: Change Password via an Android Device

• Open Yahoo Mail Android App.

• When the App opens, tap Sign in with Yahoo. Then, sign in with your Yahoo email address and password.

• Once the App displays your emails, on the top left, tap the menu icon (usually your initials). A set of options will be displayed.

• From the displayed options, tap Manage accounts.

• Then, beneath the Yahoo account you want to change the password, tap Account info (I could not capture the screen because the App blocks the ability to screenshot the page).
• When the Account info page opens, tap Security settings. You may be required to enter your phone PIN. Enter it and tap Next.
• Finally, on the top right of the ACCOUNT SECURITY page, tap Change password.

Option 3: Change Password Using an iPhone

• Open Yahoo Mail App on your iPhone. Then, login with your Yahoo email and password.

• On the top left of the App, tap the menu icon. A set of options will be displayed.

• From the displayed options, tap Manage accounts.

• Then, beneath the Yahoo Mail account you can to change password for, tap Manage info.

• When your Account info page opens, scroll down and tap Security settings.

• Finally, on the top right of ACCOUNT SECURITY page, tap Change password.
