Publisher Fictions and developer Panache Digital Games are bringing the open-world survival game to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 on December 8, 2026. This is the game’s first release on a Nintendo platform. Documentary-style narration

Current-generation optimization
PS5 and Xbox Series X|S receive full optimization for their current-generation hardware. No resolution, frame-rate or graphics-mode targets were announced, so buyers should not assume a particular performance setting until platform specifications are published.

Survival and exploration
Players manage basic needs including eating, drinking and sleeping while dealing with fear, predators and changing weather. Jungles and savannahs provide the main environments for finding resources, learning the surroundings and deciding when a clan member should take a risk.
Tools, clans and generations
Crafting and experimentation help the clan respond to threats and reach new areas. Recruited clan members can contribute to the group, while learned abilities are passed forward as generations change. The announced overview names hominid stages including Ardipithecus ramidus and Australopithecus, placing the playable journey within a broad span of human evolution rather than a single historical episode.

Xbox One owners

PC players
PC players do not need to buy a new edition for the announced improvements: the existing PC edition is scheduled to receive them through a free update. The announcement does not state the update’s download size or minimum hardware changes.
