Google’s Android item-finding network is now called Find Hub, not Find My Device. If you want to locate keys, bags, luggage, wallets, or other belongings with nearby Android phones, look for a Find Hub-compatible Bluetooth tracker. Current options include Chipolo, Pebblebee, Motorola, UGREEN, Rolling Square, MiLi, and trackers built into products such as luggage and wallet accessories.
These tags are not miniature GPS devices. They usually use Bluetooth Low Energy to communicate with nearby phones. When your item is out of Bluetooth range, participating Android devices can detect the tag and securely report an approximate location to Find Hub. That makes them useful for lost belongings, but not a guaranteed real-time tracking or anti-theft system.
What Google Find Hub actually does
Find Hub-compatible tags broadcast a Bluetooth signal. When your phone is nearby, the Find Hub app can help you locate the tag by showing its last known location, playing a sound, or—where supported—providing proximity or precision guidance.
If the item is farther away, another participating Android device may detect the tag. Its location can then be reported to Find Hub using encrypted location information. The owner can see the item’s approximate location, while the phone that relayed the signal does not need to know whose tracker it detected. Google describes this as an end-to-end encrypted finding network in its Find Hub support documentation.
The practical limitation is important: Find Hub is a crowdsourced Bluetooth network, not a cellular GPS service. A lost bag’s location may update when Android phones pass near it, but updates depend on those phones being present, compatible, connected, and participating in the network. A tag may therefore show an old location or no distant location at all.

Best current Find Hub-compatible trackers by use case
Google’s official compatibility directory lists products from several manufacturers. The models below are current examples rather than a promise that every model is stocked in every country. Prices, availability, features, and even model names can vary by market.

For keys, bags, and general-purpose use
Chipolo POP is a current cross-platform tag that can be configured for either Apple Find My or Android Find Hub. It cannot be active on both networks simultaneously. Chipolo lists a 120 dB sound, a replaceable CR2032 battery rated for approximately one year, IP55 protection, and Bluetooth range of up to 90 meters or 300 feet under its stated conditions. It attaches directly to a key ring. See the manufacturer’s Chipolo POP specifications before buying.
Chipolo LOOP is the rechargeable alternative in Chipolo’s current lineup. Chipolo lists USB-C charging, an approximately 125 dB sound, IP67 protection, and roughly one year of battery life. Like the POP, it can be configured for one finding network at a time.
Pebblebee Clip 5 is a rechargeable clip-on option for keys, backpacks, and luggage. Pebblebee lists Find Hub and Apple Find My compatibility, up to 12 months per charge, IP66 protection, LED and audible alerts, and an integrated clip. Its Android requirements include Android 9 or later, Bluetooth, location services, and an internet or cellular connection. The Pebblebee Clip 5 product page has the current specifications.
Pebblebee Tag Universal is a smaller rechargeable tracker intended for items such as remotes and accessories. It can be attached with a strap or adhesive tab. Google Store information lists Find Hub and Apple Find My compatibility and up to eight months of battery life; verify the attachment method and availability for your region.

MiLi MiTag Go and Rolling Square AirNotch Pro Dual are additional directory-listed tag-style alternatives. Rolling Square AirCard Pro Dual is the card-shaped option from that company. Google lists these products as Find Hub-compatible, but exact features, stock, and regional support should be checked on the current product page rather than assumed from the directory listing.
For wallets, passports, and other slim items
A traditional key-fob tag can be too thick for a wallet. For that use, choose a card-shaped tracker designed to sit in a wallet, passport holder, laptop sleeve, or slim bag. A wallet tracker for Android should be compared on thickness, charging method, water resistance, sound volume, and replacement cost—not just network compatibility.
Chipolo CARD is a rechargeable, Qi-compatible card tracker. Chipolo lists Find Hub and Apple Find My support, IP67 protection, an approximately 110 dB sound, and about one year of battery life. It can be configured for one network at a time, so it is not simultaneously visible in both Apple Find My and Find Hub.
Pebblebee Card 5 is an ultra-thin rechargeable card tracker. Pebblebee describes it as suitable for wallets, passport holders, laptop sleeves, and similar spaces, with up to 18 months per charge and a stated thickness of 1.8 mm. The manufacturer page showed it as sold out when the research was checked, so confirm availability before treating it as a purchase option.

The compact and lightweight design makes it easy to be hidden and place inside bags, car, vehicles, toolboxes, luggage, bike, motorcycle and other personal belongings without adding bulk
- History Playback & Find Support: Review historical trajectory records and playback past routes directly in the app. The tracker tag supports extended location finding through Bluetooth network support and includes in-app navigation with Apple Maps or Google Maps for easier device recovery. This Bluetooth tracker is not a GPS tracker. It relies on nearby compatible iOS and Android devices in the crowdsourced network to update its location. Device will work best in crowded location as device relies on crowdsourced network.
- Loud Buzzer & Device Sharing Features: Activate the built-in loud buzzer to help locate nearby items quickly. This tracking device supports sharing access with multiple devices and includes account management controls, making it convenient for families, shared items, or team use
UGREEN FineTrack Slim G is an Android-focused card tracker that uses the Google Find Hub app. UGREEN lists sound alerts, family sharing, lost mode, and a replaceable battery with up to five years of stated battery life. Be careful when searching: FineTrack Slim G and FineTrack G are separate products, and the exact model should match the listing you intend to buy. See UGREEN’s FineTrack Slim G page for current details.
For precise nearby finding: Motorola moto tag
Motorola moto tag and moto tag 2 are the most relevant choices for readers who care about precision finding as well as ordinary network location. Motorola describes the first-generation moto tag as supporting Bluetooth, UWB nearby finding, sound playback, lost mode, and contact information that can help a finder return the item.
The moto tag 2 adds a newer hardware platform. Motorola lists UWB, Bluetooth 6.0 with Channel Sounding, Find Hub support, a replaceable CR2032 battery rated for more than 600 days, IP68 protection, location sharing, and remote-camera features. Availability and specifications may vary by market, so check the local Motorola product page.
UWB can make it easier to locate an item nearby by providing more precise directional or distance guidance than Bluetooth alone. It does not increase the tag’s distant network coverage, turn it into GPS, or guarantee that an out-of-range item will report a new location. Both the phone and the tracker need compatible UWB hardware, and software and regional support can affect the feature.

For integrated luggage and accessories
Google’s directory also includes products with finding hardware integrated into a larger item. Examples include the July CaseSafe Carry On Luggage and Journey LOC8 products such as the Laptop Sleeve Universal, Urban Key Organiser Universal, Finder Fob 2 Universal, and Versa Universal Wallet.
This approach can be convenient because the tracker is designed into the case, sleeve, organiser, or wallet. The trade-off is flexibility: a standalone tag can be moved between bags, while an integrated tracker remains tied to the product. Google has also described an expanding partner ecosystem involving luggage, outdoor-sports equipment, and themed tags. Treat future airline, smart-luggage, and outdoor integrations as availability-dependent rather than assuming every announced partnership is active in your country.
Requirements before you buy
Find Hub compatibility checklist
- An Android phone running Android 9 or later for network participation and compatible tag use.
- Google Play Services where required by the manufacturer’s setup instructions.
- Bluetooth enabled.
- Location services enabled.
- Internet access or cellular connectivity for the phone to perform network operations.
- A Google account and the current Find Hub app or system integration, as required by your device.
- A tag explicitly listed as compatible with Google Find Hub—not merely an older product described as compatible with “Google’s Find My Device.”
Nearby finding can work through a tag’s sound, Bluetooth proximity, distance guidance, or UWB precision finding. Which options appear depends on the tracker, the phone model, Android version, permissions, and region. A tag can be network-compatible without supporting every advanced feature.

Replaceable battery or rechargeable tracker?
The battery design affects convenience over the life of the tag:
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute- Replaceable CR2032: Chipolo POP and Motorola moto tag 2 use replaceable coin cells. You avoid charging cables, but you must keep replacement batteries available and dispose of depleted cells appropriately.
- USB-C rechargeable: Chipolo LOOP and Pebblebee Clip 5 can be recharged rather than opened for a new coin cell. This reduces disposable batteries but introduces another device that needs charging.
- Qi-rechargeable card: Chipolo CARD uses wireless Qi charging, which is convenient if you already have a compatible charger. Check how the card must be positioned and how long charging takes.
- Long-life or replaceable card battery: UGREEN FineTrack Slim G lists a replaceable battery and up to five years of stated battery life. Treat manufacturer battery estimates as usage-dependent, not a guaranteed service interval.
Accessories can be useful here: CR2032 batteries for replaceable models, a USB-C cable for rechargeable tags, a Qi charger for a rechargeable card, or a key-ring holder for a tracker without a built-in attachment point. Do not assume a charger or mounting accessory is included unless the product listing says so.
Multi-network tags: one network at a time
Several current products are marketed as cross-platform. Chipolo POP, Chipolo CARD, Pebblebee Clip 5, and Pebblebee Card 5 can be configured for Apple Find My or Android Find Hub. However, “cross-platform” does not mean the same tag is simultaneously active on both networks.
In general, switching from one network to the other requires resetting or reconfiguring the tracker. Before buying, decide which phone ecosystem will normally manage the tag. If a household contains both iPhone and Android users, confirm exactly how sharing works rather than assuming everyone can manage the tracker through their preferred app.
How to choose the right tracker
- Start with the object. Pick a key-ring tag for keys or a bag, a clip for luggage and backpacks, a card for a wallet or passport holder, or an integrated product if you want the tracker built in.
- Confirm the exact model. Product families can contain both Find Hub and non-Find Hub versions. Match the model name—not just the brand—to Google’s directory and the manufacturer’s current page.
- Choose the power method. Select replaceable batteries for quick maintenance or rechargeable hardware if you prefer not to buy coin cells.
- Decide whether UWB matters. UWB is useful for finding an item that is probably nearby. It is not a substitute for the crowdsourced network when the item is far away.
- Check physical protection. IP ratings are not identical, and water resistance does not mean a tracker is suitable for every immersion, impact, or outdoor condition.
- Check availability in your country. Google warns that products, features, and specifications can vary by region, carrier, and device.
What happens when an item is lost?
Use Find Hub to check the tracker’s current or last known location. If it appears nearby, play its sound and use the available proximity or precision guidance. If it appears elsewhere, travel to the location only when it is safe and appropriate; a tracker location is approximate and may not identify the exact room, vehicle, or person carrying the item.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Lost mode and contact information can help an honest finder return a tag. They do not guarantee recovery. Google’s guidance also says these trackers should not be used to track pets or locate stolen items. For theft, contact the relevant authorities and your insurer rather than confronting someone based only on a tracker’s location.
Unknown-tracker alerts and privacy
Android supports unknown-tracker alerts for Find Hub-compatible tags, Apple AirTags, and compatible headphones. If another person’s tracker appears to be traveling with you, Android may notify you. You can also manually scan for nearby trackers, play a sound, use nearby guidance when supported, and follow the manufacturer’s instructions to disable a discovered tracker. See Google’s unknown-tracker alert guidance for the current steps.

These protections reduce the risk of covert tracking, but they are not a promise that every tracker will be detected immediately in every circumstance. Alerts can depend on the tracker, phone, software, connectivity, movement pattern, and other technical conditions. Trackers should be used for belongings—not for monitoring another person without consent—and they are not emergency or personal-safety devices.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Beware discontinued Chipolo Point listings
Google’s compatibility directory may still list Chipolo ONE Point and Chipolo CARD Point as Find Hub-compatible. Chipolo’s current support and editorial material says those Point models were discontinued in 2025 and replaced by the current POP, LOOP, and CARD products.
Recommended Free Tools
This means an existing Point tracker may remain technically useful, and old inventory may still appear for sale. It should not be presented as Chipolo’s current product line. Marketplace listings may also use the former phrase “Google’s Find My Device.” Verify the exact model and check the manufacturer’s current information before purchasing older stock. The distinction is especially important for battery life, app setup, network support, and return eligibility.
Google’s wider compatibility directory
Beyond the featured products above, Google’s broader directory includes regional or less widely distributed models from brands such as Amine, Arctic Fox, Bikebac, Boomtag, Boompods, Dahe, Ekster, eufy, FINDY, FINX, FoundIT, Fresh ’n Rebel, Hama, HOCO, Inplay, ISY, Itel, Jio, Kogan, Loshall, Maginon, MOMAX, Noise, NOVA, NOVOO, Nutale, O2, Otic, Pixbee, Remax, Satechi, Silver Monkey, Sualio, TRACY, Triton, UPSTRÖM, Veloctric, Vos, and Xtorm.
That list is useful as a compatibility directory, not as a universal buying recommendation. Google explicitly says products may not be available in every country and that specifications and features vary by region, carrier, and device. For a purchase decision, verify three things: the exact model is listed, the manufacturer still supports it, and the retailer can supply the version intended for your market.

Do Find Hub trackers use GPS?
Usually no. The tag generally uses Bluetooth Low Energy. Nearby Android phones can detect it and report an approximate location to Find Hub. That is different from a cellular GPS tracker and is not guaranteed real-time tracking.
Can one tracker work with both Apple Find My and Android Find Hub?
Some models, including Chipolo POP and CARD and Pebblebee Clip 5 and Card 5, support either network. They generally cannot be active on both networks simultaneously; switching usually requires resetting or reconfiguring the tracker.
What Android version is required?
Find Hub network participation and compatible tag use require Android 9 or later. Bluetooth, location services, internet or cellular connectivity, and any manufacturer-required Google Play Services setup may also be necessary.
Will a Find Hub tag help recover a stolen item?
It may provide a location, but Google advises against using tracker tags to locate stolen items. Do not confront anyone based on a tracker location; contact the appropriate authorities instead.
The Bottom Line
For most Android users, choose the form factor first: Chipolo POP, Chipolo LOOP, or Pebblebee Clip 5 for keys and bags; Chipolo CARD, Pebblebee Card 5, or UGREEN FineTrack Slim G for wallets; and Motorola’s moto tag 2 if compatible UWB precision finding is a priority. Confirm Android 9-or-newer support, the exact model, battery design, regional availability, and whether the tag is configured for Find Hub rather than Apple Find My. Most importantly, remember what you are buying: a Bluetooth tag that can benefit from a crowdsourced Android network, not a guaranteed GPS or anti-theft service.
