Why the reported headcounts differ
Different reports describe the group in different ways. The Independent reported that 34 people were believed to have been dismissed in October 2025 and that 23 were taking part in the tribunal. Vertical Slice described the proceedings as involving 31 fired union members. A Rockstar spokesperson said the company’s position was “clear and consistent”: the people were dismissed for gross misconduct, “not because of alleged trade union membership or activity,” and Rockstar would defend the claims. Will the tribunal affect the GTA VI release date?
