“God of War” was released in 2018 for PlayStation 4. The fact that this game has been around for a while and still attracts interest from many video game lovers has a lot to say about the game!
The PS4 version comes with exciting new twists. For example it has more vicious combat. It also comes with awesome new graphic designs.
This is the most realistic and coolest game every gamer MUST play…
2. Red Dead Redemption 2
The second in our top 10 PS4 action games is “Red Dead Redemption 2”!
This is one of Rockstar Games. Game lovers that have been around for a while knows what I am talking about. You remember Grand Theft Auto? Yes, they made it too.
The first thing to note is the story line of the game. The visuals are based on the wild west, set in the 70’s. The story begins with a robbery incident that goes completely wrong. The gang is then forced to flee Blackwater town.
Federal agents was all over the fugitives. They then acquired the service of the best bounty hunters in the nation.
To survive, the gang moved from one city to another committing illegal activities and wrecking havoc everywhere they go.
The graphics are very realistic and action-packed. Compared to Grand Theft Auto, “Red Dead Redemption” covers a wider area in the map.
“Red Dead Redemption 2” was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 26, 2018. The game is due to be released for PC November 2019.
3. Devil May Cry 5
The third in our top 10 PS4 action games is “Devil may cry”!
The name of the game itself is quite exciting – “Devil May Cry” leaves you wondering what the game is about. But that is the whole point, suspense. The latest installment of the game is action-adventure packed.
The game features good sword fight and cool gadgets for extra power. Playing the game promises to bring loads of fun and several monster to slay along the way. Trust me!
The game is available on PS4 and Xbox one.
4. Grand Theft Auto V
“Grand Theft Auto” earned its 4th position in our top 10 PS4 action games because it offers a whole new experience compared to what we are used to.
The story line is still the same but the new version introduces new tech and realism into the street.
For starters, it offers an excellent multiplayer feature. It has a whole set of cool buildings and cars. If you love cars you will love playing “Grand Theft Auto”!
One feature that stands out for me is the the online version that allows up to 30 players to cooperate or compete.
“Grand Theft Auto” was available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 September 2013. The game was introduced to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One November 2014 and for Microsoft Windows April 2015.
5. Spider-Man
Taking up the fifth position in our top 10 PS4 action games is “Spider-Man”!
This is the only Superhero game so far on our list. We all know the Spider-Man story line: he got his power and became a hero when he was bitten by a spider.
Though this game introduces some new twists to the story, the original story is still intact. This, I believe is what makes the game more fun to play – the fact that you are familiar with the story. However, this does not diminish the fun in any shape or form!
The game has proven to be a force in the gaming world. Talking about the the game-play, design quality and high tech gadgets for combat. If you love actions games, you will have loads of fun with this one.
What makes this game spectacular for me is enjoying the fantasy of being spider-man himself. It is powerful. The game features a unique way of fighting – this makes it more engaging to fight crimes and protect the city.
If you haven’t played Spider-Man you are missing out!
6. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
“Sekiro: Shadows die twice” ranked no six in our top 10 PS4 action games. The magical fiction of this game coupled with fighting scenes is quite thrilling.
The game is about an out-of-form disgraceful warrior at the brink of death but later rescued. Now he is bound to protect a young lord of an ancient bloodline. As a result, the warrior becomes the target of many vicious forces.
To survive, he must be brave and relentless, fight to the death to overcome and regain his honor. Sound interesting already? If you are an action game lover and tired of guns then this game brings that power-packed action in sword fight. It is simply amazing.
The game is available on PS4 and Xbox One.
7. Blood Bourne
The seventh on our list is “Bloodborne”. Wondering why this game made it to our top 10 PS4 action games list? This action-packed game comes with so many intriguing twists. For me, this makes it a lot more fun to play.
The game, set in an ancient dark world features illness, danger, death and horrific scenes. If you want to survive in this game you must learn of its dark secrets.
I found the game quite interesting because it has the fear factor and you have to battle enemy creatures with unique weapons. This makes taking the enemy down very thrilling. You also conquer your fear along the way.
The game is available on PS4.
8. Assassin Creed Odyssey
Ranking up to eight position in our top 10 PS4 action games is “Assassin Creed Odyssey”.
The game’s story line involves war between Athens and Sparta in ancient times. Several Roman war movie lovers can relates to this. You have the option to choose a male or female mercenary who fights for both sides to unite them and uncover a secret group.
The game comes with exciting combat display. You become a hero fighting for justice from one location to another. You also get to uncover valuable treasures, recruit members with special abilities, and gain entrance to territories.
Finally, you learn more about the ancient Greece legendary and mythological figures.
The game is available on PS4.
9. Resident Evil 7
“Resident Evil 7” made it to the ninth position in our top 10 PS4 action games because it is truly awesome.
It is quite unlike what you have been used to in the the previous versions of the game.
The game has a whole new experience that stands it out from any other horror game. It is wild and fun.
The game’s scene promises disturbing and more realistic horror display but that is the idea – to get you scared! However, you overcome new threats, fight heads-on with the enemy and solve the latest mystery of the outbreak to complete your mission.
I love games with thrilling fight scenes and this game has a touch of that. It is available in PS4 and Xbox one.
10. NieR Automata
“Nier Automata” is the tenth in our top 10 PS4 action games.
The level of intensity in this game is quite amazing. It has a good story line set in a time the earth was invaded. Mankind was driven out of their homes and forced to take refuge on the moon.
In a fight to gain back their world, humanity developed a new generation of soldiers. The war is set to unveil the real truth about their world.
The games features cool accessories, awesome graphics display and combat scenes to make you yearn for more!
