Our verdict on TIO
TIO is a free progressive web app for personal daily and weekly planning. It combines calendar views with task management, so solo users can schedule tasks visually, create recurring tasks, and review daily, weekly, and monthly activity summaries. Tasks can include Markdown descriptions, checklists, and links. TIO runs in a browser and can be installed on desktop, tablet, or mobile through its PWA format, while offline operation stores work locally in the browser.
The published Beta plan includes all productivity features, optional Dropbox synchronization, and use on as many devices as desired. Its planning approach is especially suited to people who think in calendar blocks rather than only in lists. Flexible recurring schedules extend the tool beyond one-off reminders, while Google Calendar event import helps bring existing appointments into the planning view.
