Our verdict on ScreenCloud

ScreenCloud is a cloud-based digital signage platform for organizations publishing communications across offices, frontline workplaces, retail locations, and other distributed environments. It combines a media library for images, videos, documents, and web pages with channels, playlists, scheduling, zone-based layouts, dashboard displays, and remote screen management. Its support for web, Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and API access makes it suitable for teams managing content across varied playback environments, particularly when internal communications connect with Microsoft tools.

The Microsoft ecosystem is a central strength. ScreenCloud integrates with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Power BI, and its embeddable channels can be used in intranets, Teams, and browser tabs. It also connects with Tableau, Salesforce, Datadog, Firstup, Awardco, Simpplr, Unily, Staffbase, and LumApps. For organizations with technical resources, the GraphQL API supports programmatic platform management, while role-based access includes owners, admins, managers, creators, publishers, and viewers. Pro and Enterprise add custom roles and permissions, giving larger communications teams more control over publishing responsibilities.

Pricing starts with Core at $20 per screen per month when billed annually. Core includes 80+ apps and integrations, unlimited file storage, design templates and Quick Post, screen management, remote device management, and the GraphQL API. Pro costs $30 per screen per month with annual billing and adds premium apps and integrations, advanced dashboards, QR code metrics, custom user permissions, and single sign-on. Enterprise has custom pricing and includes single sign-on, custom roles and permissions, plus dedicated onboarding and support. A 14-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan. ScreenCloud suits organizations that need structured internal communications and Microsoft integrations; teams seeking a free signage product should choose another option.
