Administrators can configure single-node or multi-node clusters, select virtual machines based on required specifications, and manage Cassandra through a browser-based console. The service is aimed at teams that want Cassandra cluster operations connected to Samsung's cloud networking and infrastructure controls.
The paid model separates Cassandra itself from the infrastructure needed to run it. Cassandra is free of charge, while VM usage and selected infrastructure options are charged separately.
