Our verdict on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
Salesforce Financial Services Cloud is a cloud CRM for banks, wealth managers, insurers, asset managers, and lenders. It brings together industry-specific data models, customer and relationship views, opportunity and referral management, client onboarding, service workflows, compliance processes, analytics, and AI-assisted automation. Its scope suits large financial institutions that need sales, service, onboarding, and regulatory operations connected in one platform rather than a general-purpose CRM with limited financial-services structure.
The published plans show a paid model with annual billing. Financial Services Cloud for Sales costs $325 per user per month and includes industry-specific data models, actionable segmentation, and financial goals and plans. Financial Services Cloud for Service is also $325 per user per month, adding industry-specific workflows, a CSR console, and Service Process Studio. The Sales and Service edition costs $350 per user per month and combines those functional areas. Agentforce 1 Sales and Agentforce 1 Service each cost $750 per user per month, with capabilities such as Scheduler, Slack collaboration, Data Cloud and Financial Services Cloud Intelligence connectivity, and Flex Credits for Agentforce. A 30-day trial is available, and some capabilities, editions, and integrations require separate licenses or add-ons.
Compliance and onboarding are central strengths. KYC data models, document checklists, e-signatures, configurable controls, workflow-based regulatory processes, and time-stamped audit trails support structured financial operations. Client self-service portals, appointment management, prebuilt banking, wealth, and insurance workflows, and integrations with Outlook, Gmail, Google Calendar, Microsoft Exchange, Teams, Mastercard, Visa, Guidewire, MuleSoft, and Data 360 extend its ecosystem fit. Organizations needing a connected financial-services operating platform should consider it; smaller teams or buyers prioritizing lower per-user costs and simpler deployment should look for a narrower CRM.
