Our verdict on MRI Evolution
MRI Evolution is facilities management software from MRI Software for facilities teams, property owners, occupiers, and service providers. It centralizes facility, asset, contract, vendor, and maintenance information across single- or multi-site portfolios. Core capabilities include asset lifecycle management, preventive maintenance scheduling, work orders, inspections, permits, certificates, supplier management, contract and SLA management, reporting, workflows, and third-party integrations. That breadth makes it a fit for organizations coordinating mature property and facilities operations rather than teams looking for a narrow work-order tool.
The platform’s strongest distinction is its coverage across the facilities management lifecycle. Teams can maintain asset registers, schedule planned preventive maintenance, allocate work, manage compliance checks, and track vendor and contract activity within one system. BIM and interactive 3D building and space navigation add a visual layer for locating buildings and spaces. Dashboards and reports support operational oversight, while workflows connect recurring maintenance and compliance processes. This combination suits portfolios where facilities data, service delivery, and accountability need to be managed together.
MRI Evolution also extends field operations through its Evolution GO mobile workforce apps. Published product details describe task assignment, audits, asset updates, attachments, and offline operation, which supports work away from a continuous connection. According to the vendor’s pricing model, the product is sold through contact with sales rather than published plan tiers, so buyers should expect a demo-led evaluation. MRI Evolution is the stronger choice for established property and facilities portfolios that need broad operational coverage, mobile field work, compliance management, and 3D navigation. Smaller teams seeking a simple, publicly priced scheduling or work-order product may prefer a narrower alternative.
