Our verdict on manitu Nextcloud Hosting
manitu Nextcloud Hosting provides hosted Nextcloud Community Edition through a one-click installer. It is aimed at private users, self-employed people and small companies that want file sharing, calendars, contacts and additional applications without managing the underlying hosting infrastructure. Plans run on shared webhosting and include storage, a domain, SSL certificates, email addresses, databases and SSH access. Hosting takes place in a German data center under EU GDPR requirements, making the service a practical fit for users seeking an EU-based hosting location.
Pricing is structured by storage and database capacity. Webhosting M costs €5.99 per month and includes 100 GB of storage and 5 SSD databases. Webhosting L costs €11.99 per month with 200 GB and 10 SSD databases; Webhosting XL costs €15.99 per month with 300 GB and 15 SSD databases; Webhosting XXL costs €19.99 per month with 500 GB and 25 SSD databases. Every plan includes one-click Nextcloud Community Edition installation, one domain, free SSL certificates and unlimited email addresses. Daily backups with 14-day retention, spam and virus filtering, and SSH access add useful hosting administration features.
The main trade-off is the product’s narrow operating model. Customers self-administer the Community Edition rather than receiving a managed Nextcloud Enterprise deployment, so it suits buyers comfortable managing their own Nextcloud environment. Google Drive, Dropbox and Nextcloud App Store extensions are listed integrations, while the directory lists web as the platform. The service is a strong match for an individual or small organization prioritizing storage, German hosting and predictable monthly plans. Buyers needing a fully managed Enterprise deployment, broader platform coverage or clearly defined support for larger groups should consider an alternative.
