Our verdict on Impress Plus

Impress Plus is an enterprise digital signage content management system from Engagis for retail, corporate and other multi-site organisations. It brings media asset management, template creation, playlists, campaign scheduling, targeting, publishing and media player management into a cloud deployment. Content can include audio, YouTube, clickthrough elements, iframes, social media and custom HTML templates. Its positioning fits teams managing distributed screens that need structured approvals, permissions and reporting rather than basic playback alone.

The platform’s strongest area is campaign governance. Teams can create, schedule, share and publish campaigns, route content through approval workflows, and apply single sign-on, custom user roles and role-based permissions. Conditional content can respond to weather, beacons and third-party APIs, while proof-of-play, occupancy and compliance reporting support operational review. Custom integrations extend the system into DAM, identity, workflow and content environments, including Adobe AEM, Active Directory, SAML, OAuth, POS systems and CRM platforms. These capabilities make Impress Plus a strong fit for complex publishing processes and large networks with distinct stakeholders.
