Our verdict on GridPane

GridPane is a WordPress hosting platform for agencies, WordPress professionals, and technical teams that want control over infrastructure. It supports server provisioning, website deployment and cloning, staging, backups, caching, PHP management, security tools, and server logs. GridPane is positioned as adjacent to WordPress Multisite hosting rather than directly verified as a Multisite-specific service, so teams choosing it for that use case should assess their implementation requirements carefully.

The published plans cover three operating models. Core is free and runs on the customer's own Vultr server, with up to 25 websites, server page caching, Redis object caching, a 7G firewall, A+ grade SSL certificates, and cloning features. PeakFreq costs $19 per month and adds fully managed high-frequency servers, support ticket access, server monitoring, staging, and local and remote backups. Bespoke Hosting costs $2,000 per year and includes fully managed WordPress hosting, bespoke plans, 360 preemptive support, done-for-you security, agency partnerships, and the highest SLAs available. Server-provider charges are separate from GridPane fees.

Its ecosystem is a central part of the product. Infrastructure integrations include Vultr, DigitalOcean, Linode, UpCloud, and AWS Lightsail, while Cloudflare and DNS Made Easy support DNS workflows. Amazon S3, Backblaze B2, and Wasabi support backup destinations, and SendGrid supports email integration.
