Green Hills MULTI IDE is an integrated development environment for embedded software developers working with C and C++ applications. It is aimed at teams building safety-critical and high-reliability software across automotive, industrial, aerospace, medical, networking, and other embedded markets. The environment combines project management, parallel builds, debugging, analysis, simulation, coverage, and flash programming in one product. Its target coverage includes ARM AArch32/AArch64, Power Architecture, AURIX/TriCore, RH850, Intel x86/x64, and RISC-V processors, with RTOS support and both probe-based and other debugging workflows.

Debugging and analysis are the strongest reasons to consider MULTI. Its multicore source-level debugger is paired with TimeMachine back-in-time debugging and a history execution viewer, giving teams several ways to inspect processor behavior. DoubleCheck provides static source-code analysis, while runtime error and memory checking address execution issues. Performance profiling and code coverage extend the environment beyond basic edit, build, and debug work. An instruction-set simulator, integrated flash programmer, and support for embedded Linux and multiple RTOS environments add useful development and validation capabilities.
