Freshservice is a cloud-based IT service management platform for IT teams and enterprise service departments. It brings incident, problem, change, asset, service catalog, knowledge management, workflow automation, reporting and employee self-service into one system. Teams can manage tickets, approvals, assets and knowledge through web, iOS and Android applications, with API access for broader operational workflows. Its feature set suits organizations that need more structure than a basic help desk, particularly growing teams formalizing IT service delivery.

Pricing is organized into four tiers, all priced per agent per month when billed annually. Starter costs $19 and includes knowledge management, task management, a support portal and omnichannel support. Growth costs $49 and adds a service catalog, SLA management, on-call management and cloud management. Pro costs $99 and adds problem management, change management, major incident management and employee journeys; Freddy AI Copilot is available as an add-on. Enterprise uses custom pricing and includes a sandbox, audit logs, Freddy AI Agent and Freddy AI Insights. A 14-day trial is available, but there is no perpetual free plan.

Freshservice’s breadth is a central advantage for teams connecting IT support with operations. Features include asset lifecycle management, CMDB, configurable workflow conditions and actions, approval groups and chains, reporting, analytics and AI-assisted service delivery. Integrations cover Microsoft Teams, Slack, Workday, BambooHR, AWS, Azure, VMware, GCP, Google Workspace, Zoom, Qualys, GitHub, Oracle, Okta and Monday.com. Organizations that need service catalogs, SLA policies, asset tracking and structured change processes should find the platform aligned with their needs. Smaller teams seeking only basic ticketing, or buyers prioritizing a free plan, should consider a narrower or lower-cost alternative.
