AURIX Development Studio is Infineon’s Eclipse-based integrated development environment for embedded developers working with AURIX TriCore microcontrollers. It brings together a C compiler, build workflows, device-aware multi-core debugging, Infineon low-level drivers, project creation tools, programming, and serial communication. The intended audience includes teams developing software for AURIX TC2xx, TC3xx, and TC4xx devices in automotive and industrial applications.

The pricing model is straightforward: the IDE is free of charge, with no time or code-size limitations. Its project wizard supports AURIX devices and boards, while integrated code-example repository access can help developers start from Infineon-provided examples. The AURIX Flasher programming workflow handles device programming within the development environment, and the serial monitor supports communication with connected boards. Debugger support and support for both probe types add flexibility to board-level development, while RTOS support is included in the published capability set.
