Our verdict on AssetPass
AssetPass is a cloud-based fleet, plant and asset maintenance system for businesses managing trucks, trailers, machinery and other equipment. It is positioned for Australian yards managing approximately 5 to 100 assets, with support for multiple depots and unlimited users. The system brings together asset registers, registration and certificate expiry tracking, service schedules, prestart checks, fault reporting, inspections, jobcards, parts, labour and maintenance records. Drivers can report faults with photos from a phone, while workshops can document repairs and schedule work.
The strongest fit is for teams that need a clear maintenance record across vehicles and equipment. Asset search can use an asset number, name, registration, make or VIN, while service schedules can be based on kilometres, engine hours or dates. Email reminders support expiry management, and custom checklists cover inspections and maintenance tasks. Digital jobcards run from quote through completion, with parts, labour and job-cost tracking. Maintenance records and certificates can also be emailed, giving teams a practical record for day-to-day workshop administration.
AssetPass has two published plan types: Powered assets and Trailers. The Powered assets plan covers registration and inspection tracking, service schedules, digital jobcards, cost tracking, and unlimited users and depots.
