The Jade Audio Level 1 is a compact stereo amplifier for passive speakers, with analog, USB, coaxial and Bluetooth inputs plus speaker, subwoofer and preamp outputs. With its included 48 V/5 A power supply, Jade Audio specifies at least 120 W per channel into 4 ohms and 115 W per channel into 8 ohms, both below 1% THD+N. Its often-highlighted 300 W-per-channel figure requires an optional supply and allows distortion below 10%, so it is not the stock setup’s clean-output rating.
Although this review uses the familiar term “integrated amplifier,” Jade Audio’s Japan product page calls the Level 1 a desktop power amplifier. That page lists both analog and digital inputs, making it usable as a compact all-in-one amplifier for several source types.
What the Jade Audio Level 1 is
The Level 1 is a small Class D stereo amplifier built around Texas Instruments’ TPA3255, according to Jade Audio’s Japan product page. Its compact size and range of inputs suit a desktop or small-room setup with passive speakers. The output ratings, however, need to be read alongside their power-supply, speaker-load and distortion conditions.

The manufacturer lists dimensions of approximately 181 × 133 × 36 mm, excluding feet, and a weight of approximately 676 g. Inputs, outputs and playback options
Jade Audio lists four input options: LINE IN, USB IN, COAX IN and Bluetooth IN. USB accepts PCM audio up to 24-bit/96 kHz; coaxial accepts PCM up to 24-bit/192 kHz. Bluetooth supports SBC and LDAC. The listed outputs are speaker terminals, a subwoofer output and a preamp output.
HomeTheaterHifi describes the analog input as stereo RCA and the speaker connections as binding posts. It also reports independent bass and treble controls. Informed Listening and Headfonics describe app-based parametric EQ through the FiiO Control app for digital inputs; these app and EQ details are reviewer-reported rather than fully specified in the manufacturer’s cited table.

The listed connections do not include Wi-Fi or Ethernet, so the Level 1 is not itself a network streamer. It can accept Bluetooth or wired sources, but network playback would require a separate source device.

How much power does it deliver?
The ratings below come from Jade Audio’s Japan specification page. The included supply is the practical baseline for a buyer evaluating the box as sold; the higher figures require a separately specified power supply.

The headline maximum of 300 W + 300 W is therefore tied to the optional 53 V/12 A supply, a 4-ohm load and a THD+N limit below 10%. It should not be read as the included configuration’s clean everyday output. Jade Audio’s page does not provide below-1% distortion ratings for that optional supply. HomeTheaterHifi and Informed Listening separately report cleaner optional-supply figures of 240 W + 240 W into 4 ohms and 135 W + 135 W into 8 ohms below 1% THD+N; those are review-source figures, not the manufacturer’s cited ratings.
Jade Audio also specifies a 20 Hz–40 kHz frequency response, signal-to-noise ratio of at least 105 dB, dynamic range of at least 99 dB and THD no greater than 0.05%. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements established by the review sources here.

What the reviews establish—and what they do not
The available reviews provide feature descriptions and subjective listening impressions, not a controlled comparison of the Level 1 against other amplifiers using matched speakers and conditions. Informed Listening says its reviewer spent more than a week with a sample supplied by Jade Audio. Headfonics says its sample was received in exchange for an honest opinion. Those are the reviewers’ experiences, not independent testing by this article.
There is also a disagreement over PFFB: HomeTheaterHifi lists it among the Level 1’s features, while Informed Listening says “No PFFB.” Jade Audio’s cited Japan specification page does not resolve the conflict, so PFFB should not be treated as a confirmed feature.

Informed Listening also says independent Audio Precision measurements were not yet available to that review. The available material therefore does not establish matched independent performance measurements, tested speaker pairings or long-term reliability. A buyer should treat listening comments as that publication’s judgment rather than a guaranteed result with every speaker or room.
Price and buying considerations
HomeTheaterHifi listed an MSRP of $139.99 in its September 23, 2026 review; Informed Listening listed $139.99 at review on May 25, 2026; and Headfonics reported $139.99 in its June 20, 2026 review. These are dated editorial references, not confirmation of today’s price, seller, stock or regional warranty.
For a desktop or small-room system, the Level 1’s appeal is the combination of a small enclosure, multiple wired and Bluetooth inputs, tone controls reported by reviewers, and outputs for speakers, a subwoofer and a preamp. Whether it is the right choice depends on the speaker load and listening needs, as well as the current price and whether you plan to use the included supply or investigate the optional one. The available sources do not provide a controlled competitor comparison, so a fair alternative check should match load, distortion limit, included supply, connections and current price rather than compare headline wattage alone.
