To create a Gujarati social preview image, design the image with Gujarati text, check that the exported file renders the script correctly, host it at a public HTTPS URL, and add that URL to your page’s Open Graph metadata. Then preview the page on the platform where you intend to share it.
What a social preview image is
A social preview image is the graphic a platform may display when someone shares a page link. It is a separate image file referenced by the page’s metadata; putting Gujarati text in the image does not replace the page title or other metadata.
The Open Graph protocol defines four basic properties: og:title, og:type, og:image, and og:url. Its image properties can also describe the image’s alternative text, MIME type, dimensions, and secure URL. See the Open Graph protocol.
Create and check the Gujarati image
- Write a short headline. Use wording that remains legible when the image is displayed as a small link card. Keep decorative details away from the text.
- Choose an editor and test the script. Before building the full design, type representative Gujarati text, including the conjuncts, vowel marks, punctuation, and line breaks you expect to use. Inspect how it appears in the editor. If the editor lets you choose a font, check that the font contains the needed Gujarati glyphs and renders them correctly.
- Set the canvas and export. Select dimensions and an output format appropriate for the platforms where you will share the link. Open Graph does not establish one universal image size or guarantee consistent cropping across platforms; check the target platform’s current requirements.
- Inspect the exported file itself. Do not rely only on the editor canvas or its preview. Check the export at reduced size for broken conjuncts, misplaced vowel signs, missing glyphs, cramped line spacing, and low contrast.
Adobe Express is one optional browser-based editor. Adobe describes templates and text and image editing for social content, and offers a tutorial on previewing a social post. Those general capabilities do not establish that Gujarati text will shape correctly in its editor or exported image, so test the actual output. See Adobe Express and Adobe’s social preview tutorial.

Add Open Graph metadata to the page
Host the image at a publicly accessible, stable HTTPS URL, then place the metadata in the page’s <head>. The dimensions below are illustrative, not a universal recommendation. Replace the example title, canonical page URL, and image URL with your own values; use the correct MIME type and actual image dimensions.
<meta property="og:title" content="પેજનું શીર્ષક" />
<meta property="og:type" content="website" />
<meta property="og:url" content="https://example.com/gujarati-page" />
<meta property="og:image" content="https://example.com/images/gujarati-share.jpg" />
<meta property="og:image:alt" content="ગુજરાતી લેખના શીર્ષક સાથેનું ચિત્ર" />
<meta property="og:image:type" content="image/jpeg" />
<meta property="og:image:width" content="1200" />
<meta property="og:image:height" content="630" />
Use the canonical URL of the page for og:url, not the image URL. The Open Graph protocol says a page specifying og:image should also specify og:image:alt. Make the alt text a useful description of the image, rather than a list of keywords.

Preview the shared link and fix problems
Share or preview the page using the intended platform and inspect the result there. The actual card is the final check for image selection and cropping; an editor preview alone cannot show how a platform will present the page.
- Gujarati characters look broken or disconnected: Check the exported image, not just the editor canvas. Try a Gujarati-capable font after confirming its glyphs, adjust the text layout, and export again.
- Vowel marks, line breaks, or spacing look wrong: Test representative text in the chosen editor and inspect the output at card size. Shorten the headline or change its layout if marks or characters are cramped.
- The image does not appear: Confirm that
og:imagepoints to the correct image file and that the URL is publicly accessible over HTTPS. Check the page’s metadata and the preview on the target platform. - An old image appears: Recheck the page metadata and image URL. The Open Graph protocol does not specify how individual platforms cache previews, so account for platform caching and use the platform’s available preview or refresh workflow.
- The card crops the image differently than expected: Check the platform’s current image guidance and adjust the composition so the important Gujarati text remains within the visible area.

ScreenshotNeo can capture a webpage as an image or PDF, but it is not a Gujarati text editor and does not replace designing the social image or adding its Open Graph metadata. Its API can be used to capture the rendered page after you have set it up:
