To change a dinosaur’s base stats on a Path of Titans server, edit the server’s Game.ini under [/Script/PathOfTitans.IGameSession] and add one CurveOverrides entry for each stat. Every entry needs five values, one for each growth stage. The exact configuration path differs between Windows and Linux server builds, and the syntax is community-verified rather than documented by the developer, so make a backup and test each change on the current server version.
What you are changing
Path of Titans server-side dinosaur balancing is handled through curve overrides. A curve override replaces a species’ built-in value with values you specify for its growth stages. You can change core attributes such as health, stamina, combat weight, armor, movement multipliers, food capacity, hunger, thirst and depletion rates. Recovery and other multiplier-based attributes use a longer curve name that identifies the species, multiplier category and stat.
The configuration is not a graphical setting in the host control panel. Community configuration guides place the entries in Game.ini, beneath the exact section header [/Script/PathOfTitans.IGameSession]. One guide also describes a separate CurveOverrides.ini file beside Game.ini using the same header. Because no official CurveOverrides reference was located, treat the spelling, punctuation and value order below as community-verified syntax and validate changes on your own server build.
Find the correct configuration file
Use the path that matches the operating system folder actually present in your server installation. Published guides disagree about folder naming, so do not create a new platform folder just because its name appears in an example.

The folder names and capitalization can vary with the server package. If neither path exists, inspect the installation’s Saved/Config directory and use the platform-specific folder that is already populated. Editing a similarly named file in an unused installation will have no effect.
When a separate CurveOverrides.ini is present
A community guide describes placing CurveOverrides.ini beside Game.ini and using the same [/Script/PathOfTitans.IGameSession] header. Do not maintain conflicting entries in both files while diagnosing a problem. Choose the file your server package documents or already uses, keep one authoritative copy, and record which file you changed.

- Stop the server or use its maintenance mode before changing configuration, so the process cannot rewrite the file while you are saving it.
- Copy the original file to a dated backup such as
Game.ini.before-stats-2026-10-14. Keep the untouched copy outside the automatic configuration editor if the host provides one. - Save a second copy of your intended changes in a text editor. This makes it possible to restore only the affected lines instead of rebuilding the file.
- Change one species or one stat group at a time. A typo in an entry can prevent that setting from loading, and multiple simultaneous edits make the cause difficult to isolate.

The section header
Entries belong under this header, including the square brackets:
[/Script/PathOfTitans.IGameSession]If the header already exists, add the entries beneath it rather than creating several copies. If it does not exist, add it once in the configuration file selected for your server.

One line per species and stat
The general form is:
CurveOverrides=(CurveName="MyDino.Core.MaxHealth",Values=(400,550,750,900,1150))Replace MyDino with the species name used by the server configuration. The portion after the species identifies the stat. In this example, Core.MaxHealth targets maximum health and the five numbers are the values at the five growth stages. You need a separate line for every stat you want to override and a separate line for every species.
Why there are five values
Community guides describe five growth-stage values, not one value that is automatically scaled. Enter all five positions in order. Supplying fewer values, adding a sixth value or moving a value to the wrong position can produce an ignored or malformed curve. The example numbers above are a syntax example, not a balance recommendation.
Multiplier-style names
Some attributes use a multiplier namespace. A community example for crouching health recovery is:
CurveOverrides=(CurveName="Styracosaurus.Multiplier.HealthRecovery.Crouching",Values=(1,1,1,1,1))The exact stat path must match the attribute exposed by the server’s configuration tables. Do not assume that adding Core. to a multiplier name will work; use the documented name for that category and retain the five-stage value list.

Global settings
Not every curve is tied to a dinosaur. A community guide gives this global example:
CurveOverrides=(CurveName="Global.LoginDebuffDuration",Values=(60))Unlike a dinosaur growth curve, this example contains one value. Its attribution and behavior are less certain than the core dinosaur syntax, so treat global entries as experimental: back up the file, make one change, and verify the result in a controlled login test.
Choose values from the current baseline
Before changing a stat, write down the server’s current baseline. A Fandom Dinosaur Stats page labels its data current as of 10/06/2026 and patch 0.0.0.52021h1. Use that sheet as a reference only if your server is on the same or a compatible build; patches can change base curves. If your build is newer or older, record the version and compare the in-game result rather than assuming the sheet still matches.

The table shows families reported by community configuration guides, not a promise that every species exposes every name. Copy the spelling and capitalization used by the guide or configuration table for the species you are editing.

Step-by-step: add a dinosaur stat override
- Confirm the running build. Note the server platform, game version and whether the server is vanilla or uses mods. This gives you a reference when a patch changes a curve.
- Stop the instance and make the backup. Preserve the original
Game.inibefore opening it in a plain-text editor. - Open the active configuration file. Use the Windows or Linux location identified above, or the documented
CurveOverrides.inibeside it. Verify the file’s modification date changes when you save. - Locate or create the session section. Find
[/Script/PathOfTitans.IGameSession]. If it is missing, add the header once. - Add one complete line for each override. Use the exact species token and stat path, then enter five stage values. For example:
[/Script/PathOfTitans.IGameSession]

CurveOverrides=(CurveName="MyDino.Core.MaxStamina",Values=(120,160,210,260,320))- Check punctuation. Keep the outer parentheses, the quoted curve name, the comma between the name and
Values, and the inner parentheses around the numbers. Use plain decimal numbers unless the configuration table explicitly shows another format. - Save without changing the file type. A text editor must not append
.txtor convert the file into rich text. Preserve the existing line endings and encoding where possible. - Start the server and allow configuration loading. Whether a restart is strictly required is not confirmed in the available documentation; restarting after an edit is the safest way to ensure the process reads the saved file.
- Test at more than one growth stage. Check a juvenile and an adult, or otherwise test values represented by different curve positions. Confirm the stat in gameplay rather than relying only on the server starting successfully.
- Record the result. Note the build, file edited, curve name, five values and observed behavior. This makes rollback and future patch updates manageable.
Validate the change in game
A successful server start does not prove that every curve was accepted. Use a repeatable test character or a private test server and check:

- The species reaches the expected health, stamina or movement behavior at more than one growth stage.
- Food, hunger and thirst values change at the intended rate rather than only displaying a changed maximum.
- Multiplier changes affect the named state, such as crouching, without unexpectedly changing other states.
- Existing characters, nests and saved progress remain intact after the configuration reload.
Measure with the same conditions each time. A movement result can appear different because of terrain, combat state, growth stage or a separate multiplier, so test on level ground and record the character’s stage.

The server starts but the stat is unchanged
- Confirm you edited the active installation, not a backup or an unused platform folder.
- Check that the section header is exact and appears before the entries.
- Compare the species spelling, capitalization and stat path with the configuration table. A plausible-looking name can still be ignored if it is not the server’s internal curve name.
- Ensure all five growth-stage positions are present for a dinosaur curve.
- Restart after saving, then test a new character or a stage that clearly uses the changed value.
The configuration fails to load or the server reports an error
- Restore the backup immediately to return to the last known-good state.
- Remove the newest line and restart. If the server recovers, re-enter that line with corrected punctuation.
- Check for smart quotation marks, a missing parenthesis, an extra comma or a file saved as rich text.
- Reapply one line at a time instead of pasting a large block, so the failing curve is isolated.
Only one stage behaves incorrectly
Review the position of each number. The five values are positional; changing the third value affects only the corresponding growth stage. Compare the value order with your notes and test again after restoring the intended sequence.
A host control panel overwrites the edit
Some managed panels regenerate configuration files. Check the file after every restart and keep a copy of the exact block. If the panel has a raw-file editor, use that editor and save through the panel rather than editing a temporary downloaded copy.

Global settings and modded dinosaurs
Global entries such as Global.LoginDebuffDuration are not species curves and may use a single value. The community example is not supported by an official CurveOverrides manual, so introduce it only after core dinosaur overrides work and test its login behavior separately.
Available guidance does not establish whether modded dinosaurs require different curve names, a separate file or another loading mechanism. Do not assume a vanilla species entry will control a modded species. Treat modded-dinosaur editing as unverified until the mod author or server documentation provides the required internal names, then test on a non-production instance.
Keeping changes across patches
Patch updates can alter baseline curves, rename attributes or add growth stages. Before updating, export your override block and note the server version. After updating, compare the current baseline against the Fandom sheet dated 10/06/2026 for patch 0.0.0.52021h1, then retest every affected stage. If a line stops working, remove it rather than stacking newer guesses on top of an obsolete entry.
Use a simple change log with the date, patch, file, curve name, five values and test result. Keep the last known-good file so a failed balance experiment can be reversed without losing unrelated server settings.
What is confirmed—and what is not
- Confirmed by multiple community guides: dinosaur overrides use

Saved/Configfolders; use the folder present in the server build you run. - Community example: a separate

- Unconfirmed: the mandatory restart behavior and special handling for modded dinosaurs are not established by the available documentation.
For a reliable result, keep the edit small, preserve a rollback copy and verify the changed value in the game at multiple growth stages.
