The list spans console, PC, mobile and cloud gaming, but the announcement alone does not explain the hardware, subscription or network conditions for every route. Do not assume that the Xbox Cloud Gaming listing has the same setup as a local installation, or that the listed platforms share identical performance or controls. If a particular way of playing is essential, confirm its current access and requirements directly for your region.
The game’s July 2, 2024 pre-download notice listed PC, Android, iOS and PlayStation 5. That earlier list is no longer the best guide to the expanded platform selection: use the June 2026 season 3 announcement when considering current options, and verify availability for your device and region.

Honkai Impact 3rd on PC, mobile and Mac
HoYoPlay’s October 17, 2024 FAQ describes the PC launcher as a way to download, update and launch Honkai Impact 3rd. A separate official announcement on April 19, 2024 said the Mac client would be available through the Mac App Store and the official website after the v7.4 update, with support for M-series Macs. These are dated announcements: confirm the current client and storefront options for your region before relying on them.
The Mac announcement also says players can operate the game with a native keyboard or trackpad, or use an external controller. It does not make a controller necessary, and it does not establish compatibility for every controller or Mac configuration. Check compatibility for your particular device and controller if you plan to use one.
HoYoverse’s statement is useful for Mac players because it gives an explicit input choice: “Captains can use the native keyboard or trackpad of Mac devices to play the game, or use external controllers for operation.” That supports an optional controller path on the announced Mac client; it should not be stretched into a claim that a particular controller model works, that the same input setup applies to every platform, or that a controller is required.
Can your device run Zenless Zone Zero?
HoYoverse’s Help Center minimum-requirements article, updated August 26, 2025, gives these Windows specifications. Requirements can change with game updates, so check the live support page before downloading or troubleshooting.

The storage figures describe separate needs in the listed requirements: allow room for the 57 GB installation and the additional 58 GB used for decompression. Having space for the installed game alone may not be enough to complete installation. Taken together, those figures mean you should plan for about 115 GB to accommodate both listed amounts during the installation process; keep in mind that the current requirement page is the authority if figures change.
Before downloading on Windows, check each line against your own machine rather than relying on a single headline such as “8 GB RAM.” The processor, graphics, operating system and DirectX version are separate minimums. Also check free storage before beginning, since the decompression allowance is substantial in addition to the installation figure. The table is a minimum-specification reference, not a promise of a particular frame rate, visual quality or performance on a system that only just meets it.
Mobile minimums
The same Help Center article lists iPhone XS/A12-class iOS devices and specified Android chipsets with 8 GB RAM among its mobile minimums. The cited information does not enumerate those Android chipsets here, so check the live requirements page for the precise supported models and current details. A device that falls below a listed minimum may not provide a supported way to run the game.

For a phone or tablet, compare the exact model against the current list rather than relying only on its brand or operating system. The iPhone XS/A12 reference and the 8 GB Android memory figure are useful screening details, but they do not replace the specific model and chipset information on the live page. Requirements can be revised, so a device that was once listed should also be checked against the current support entry if you are installing now.
What about Honkai Impact 3rd requirements?
The available official information establishes some platform and input details, but it does not give a comparable current PC, mobile or Mac system-requirements table for Honkai Impact 3rd. Do not infer that its hardware needs match Zenless Zone Zero just because both are HoYoverse action games.
