Rockstar has not announced GTA 6 PC system requirements or confirmed a PC version. Its current platform information lists PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a console release date of November 19, 2026. Any CPU, graphics card, RAM, or storage figures circulating online are estimates—not official GTA 6 requirements.
Are GTA 6 PC system requirements official?
No. Rockstar’s GTA VI support information, last updated August 18, 2026, lists PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, not PC. It does not provide PC minimum or recommended specifications, an installation size, or a PC hardware checker.

That means there is no reliable official basis for deciding whether a particular computer can run GTA 6. Treat third-party CPU, GPU, memory, and storage figures as predictions unless Rockstar publishes specifications.
What platforms and release date are confirmed?
Take-Two’s June 24, 2026 announcement gives November 19, 2026 as the release date for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Those are the platforms named in the announced release information; it does not confirm a PC edition.

Rockstar also says the boxed physical version for the listed consoles contains a digital download code rather than a disc. Those console-specific purchase and preload details do not establish a PC release.
Can my PC run GTA 6?
There is not enough official information to answer that yet. Without a confirmed PC edition and its minimum and recommended specifications, comparing a PC’s processor, graphics card, memory, or free storage against a GTA 6 requirement would be guesswork. Rockstar has not published a PC installation-size figure in the materials reviewed.
Independent articles may offer predicted specs to help readers think about possible hardware needs. One such article explicitly describes its figures as estimates, not official or leaked specifications. Use estimates only as speculation—not as a compatibility guarantee or a reason to buy hardware.
Does Take-Two’s comment about PC mean GTA 6 is coming to PC?
No. At the company’s September 2026 annual meeting, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said, as reported by PC Gamer on September 18, 2026, that PC is becoming more important to the company. He also described a general strategy of releasing games on platforms with a meaningful audience. Those remarks concern the company’s broad platform strategy; they do not confirm a GTA 6 PC port, its timing, or its system requirements.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Should you upgrade your PC for GTA 6 now?
Do not buy components specifically for GTA 6 based on unverified requirements. The official platform information currently names consoles, and Rockstar has supplied no PC specifications against which to judge an upgrade. If you are considering an upgrade for other games or work, base that decision on those needs rather than predicted GTA 6 figures.
For a future PC release, look for an explicit platform announcement and specifications from Rockstar or Take-Two. Rockstar’s platform support page is one place to check; a general comment about PC’s growing importance is not a substitute for a game-specific announcement.
