The Dreame L60 Ultra PE brings premium-style automation and strong carpet and pet-hair results to a lower position in Dreame’s lineup—but its mopping and threshold performance are less convincing. It is best understood as a value-focused model with several flagship features, not as a cheaper equivalent to every higher-end Dreame robot.
What the Dreame L60 Ultra PE includes
The L60 Ultra PE is a robot vacuum and mop with an all-in-one dock. It is one of four models in Dreame’s L60 series; it is not the L60 Ultra FE or the L60 Ultra, and their feature sets should not be treated as interchangeable. [Dreame’s product page]
Dreame lists 30,000 Pa of Vormax suction, a HyperStream detangling DuoBrush, an anti-tangle side brush, and mop and side brushes that extend to reach closer to edges. The company also advertises vision recognition for more than 220 object types and a dock that washes the mop with 212°F/100°C water. These are manufacturer specifications and claims, not independent test results.
The robot measures 13.78 × 13.78 × 4.09 inches (350 × 350 × 103.8 mm), according to Dreame. Its relatively low profile may help it reach under some furniture, but check the height of your own clearances rather than assuming it will fit beneath every sofa or cabinet.
#1 Best Overall
- Keep Your Cleaning Station Sanitary While Tackling Stubborn Stains: The 100C ThermoHub Self-Cleaning Mop system uses a PTC-heated washboard to clean mop pads with high-temperature washing for a more sanitary result. Heat helps break down greasy residue, reduces odor buildup, and supports mop hygiene after regular use-helping maintain a cleaner home and fresher floors with less hands-on cleaning
- Powerful Suction Designed for Use Across Different Floor Surfaces: Powerful 30,000Pa Vormax suction helps capture everyday messes like dust, hair, paper scraps, and cat litter on multiple floor surfaces throughout the home. An optimized airflow design helps manage sound during operation, and adjustable suction levels in the app provide added flexibility to match different cleaning needs and preferences
- Reduce Untangling and Maintenance Time for Efficient and Quick Cleanup: The HyperStream Detangling DuoBrush pairs a bristled rubber brush with a soft TPU rubber brush to help lift hair from hard floors and carpets. An optimized airflow path guides hair toward suction to reduce tangling, while consistent floor contact supports reliable pickup and smoother operation across different surfaces during everyday cleaning routines at home
- Extensive Reach to Prevent Missed Spots and Access Hidden Corners: Dual Flex Arm Technology combines an extending side brush and a swinging mop to help reach edges, corners, and low spaces with added precision. The side brush is designed to expand to sweep debris from tight areas, while the mop extends and tilts to clean along baseboards, furniture legs, and narrow gaps-supporting broader coverage and more hands-off cleaning throughout the home
- Moves Safely and Intelligently Over and Around Obstacles as it Cleans: EasyLeap 40mm Obstacle Crossing uses a combination of main wheels and auxiliary climbing wheels to move smoothly over thresholds, door tracks, and uneven surfaces. The claw-shaped wheels engage only when needed, providing extra grip for confident movement across damp floors, slippery kitchen areas, and challenging transitions throughout the home
How it performed in independent tests
Vacuum Wars says it bought the L60 Ultra PE and tested it over several weeks. Its results offer a useful comparison under that publisher’s protocols, but they do not guarantee the same outcome in every home. The review was last updated August 28, 2026. [Vacuum Wars’ L60 Ultra PE review]
Carpet and pet hair are its strongest areas
In Vacuum Wars’ medium-pile-carpet test, the PE removed 94% of embedded sand, compared with the publication’s 78% category average. Vacuum Wars described that as the second-highest result in its dataset of nearly 200 robot vacuums. It also picked up 100% of flattened pet hair in the reviewer’s test, versus an 82% category average.
In a seven-inch hair-tangle test, Vacuum Wars recorded 0% hair wrap for the PE, against a 26% category average. These results make carpet, pet hair, and reduced brush maintenance compelling reasons to consider it, while remaining specific to the tests performed.

Obstacle avoidance was above the test average
The PE avoided 21 of 24 obstacles in Vacuum Wars’ course, compared with a 16-of-24 category average. This indicates strong performance in that evaluation; it does not mean the robot will recognize every cable, toy, or small object in a real room. Picking up loose items before a run is still prudent.
Mopping dried stains is a weak point
Vacuum Wars gave the PE a dried-stain removal score of 85, below its category average of 108. The reviewer noted that the robot used little water, which may reduce excess moisture but likely contributed to weaker dried-stain removal in this test. Its combined mopping score was 30.4, close to the 30.8 category average. The distinction matters: an overall near-average mopping score does not erase the below-average dried-stain result.
Vacuum Wars’ published page gives the corrected combined score after the reviewer identified human error in a prior video score. The corrected page result is the one to use.

Threshold claims need a home-specific check
Dreame rates the PE for crossing a single step up to 0.87 inches (2.2 cm), or a double-layer step up to 1.57 inches (4 cm), using its EasyLeap system. Vacuum Wars crossed 19 mm but failed at 25 mm in its studio evaluation. The reviewer advises treating Dreame’s 22 mm single-step figure as an upper limit, not a guarantee. Measure the transitions the robot must cross; a threshold that is only slightly too high can interrupt cleaning or prevent access to a room.
Efficiency was slightly above the reported averages
Vacuum Wars measured navigation efficiency at 0.74 m²/min, compared with a 0.71 m²/min category average. It reported 1.49 minutes per 1% of battery, versus an average of 1.56 minutes per 1%. These are results from the reviewer’s evaluation, not promises of cleaning time for a particular floor plan or battery condition.

Dreame’s 30,000 Pa figure is a manufacturer suction rating. Pascals alone do not establish how well a robot will lift debris from carpet or collect hair. Vacuum Wars reported below-average bench suction and airflow measurements for the PE alongside its strong carpet and pet-hair results. That contrast is why the pickup tests are more useful for judging those tasks than the headline suction number by itself.

PE vs. FE and higher-priced Dreame models
There is no single model that wins every cleaning test or suits every home. Vacuum Wars found the PE markedly stronger than the FE in flattened pet-hair pickup and obstacle avoidance, while the FE scored better in the same review’s dried-stain test. The FE may therefore be worth comparing if dried spills are a priority; the PE has the stronger evidence here for carpet and pet hair. [Vacuum Wars’ L60 Ultra PE review]
Dreame’s comparison with the X60 Max Ultra Complete positions the X60 as the stronger option for threshold crossing and furniture clearance, while the PE costs less on the listed prices in that comparison. Dreame also says the PE matches the X60 on several cleaning and hands-free dock dimensions, while the X60 adds convenience features. This is manufacturer positioning rather than an independent head-to-head test. Dreame sums up its comparison this way: “Which one’s ‘better’ really depends on your specific home.” [Dreame’s comparison]

Who should consider the L60 Ultra PE?
- Good fit: Homes where carpet pickup, flattened pet hair, obstacle avoidance, and an automated mop-washing dock matter more than top-tier dried-stain removal.
- Compare alternatives: Homes with dried spills as a frequent cleaning task, or with tall thresholds and low-clearance furniture that may favor another model.
- Check before ordering: Verify the exact L60 Ultra PE model, the applicable region, current price, included accessories, and the dimensions of thresholds and furniture clearances in your home.
