Coupon sites advertise BarkBox discounts of up to 50%, but as of October 9, 2026, BARK’s own published materials do not confirm a currently valid 50% subscription code. Treat any code you find as unverified until it works at checkout, and check the final recurring price and commitment length before you pay.
What the 50% claim is based on
The “up to 50% off” wording comes from third-party coupon aggregators. A Goodshop coupon listing crawled on October 7, 2026 shows a 50% off seasonal offer and a claimed 50% off a first BarkBox subscription. That listing is a third-party claim, not an announcement from BARK. Coupon codes of this kind can be conditional, expired, or limited to qualifying purchases, and the BARK FAQ search did not turn up a current 50% subscription deal.
Editorial coverage also repeats the headline. WIRED published an article titled “Barkbox Promo Codes and Discounts: Up to 50% Off” on August 12, 2026. It is useful background on what the service is, but it does not show that any particular code is still active on the date you read this.

BarkBox is a recurring subscription. According to BARK’s official FAQ, the classic box contains two toys, two treat bags, and a surprise experience. You cannot hand-pick the contents, but you can customize the toy and treat types and add items to an order.

BARK also sells Super Chewer as a separate option for dogs that need tougher toys. Its FAQ says Super Chewer plans start at $29 per month.

BARK’s FAQ says BarkBox plans start at $24 per month and come in monthly, six-month, and 12-month options. Those are starting prices stated by BARK; the price you see at checkout depends on the plan you choose and any discount you apply.

How to test a discount code at checkout
Because no code has been confirmed by BARK, test it yourself before you commit:
- Choose your plan and dog-related options first, and note the price shown before any code is applied.
- Open the cart or order summary and look for a field labeled as a promo, coupon, or discount code. If there is none, the offer may not be available to you.
- Enter the code and confirm the discount appears in the order summary.
- Check whether the discount applies only to the first box or to every recurring shipment.
- Check the commitment length. A six-month or 12-month plan may cost more per month but lock you in longer.
- Confirm the total due today and the amount charged at each renewal before you submit payment.
If the code is rejected, the offer has expired, or the discount disappears before payment, you have your answer. Do not buy on the strength of a coupon listing alone.

Terms to read before subscribing
Auto-renewal
BARK’s FAQ says auto-renewal can be turned off in your account dashboard. Check this setting right after you sign up, especially if you buy a multi-month plan.
Early cancellation
If you want to end a multi-month commitment early, the FAQ directs you to contact BARK’s Happy Team. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term, so leaving early does not stop the current commitment from running.

Shipping area and timing
According to the FAQ, shipping is currently available in the 48 contiguous states. Orders typically arrive 5 to 10 business days after they ship. Recurring orders usually arrive by the 20th of the month, but the FAQ says delivery can extend to the end of the month. Confirm territory, renewal date, and delivery timing at checkout, because these terms can change.

The BARK FAQ page in the search index also mentions a buy-one-get-one collection offer that expired on December 3, 2025. Do not treat that offer as current.
Choosing between BarkBox and Super Chewer
The right plan depends more on your dog than on the discount. Compare these factors:
- Chewing style: A dog that shreds soft toys in minutes is a better candidate for Super Chewer than for the classic box.
- Dog size: Size affects both how strong a toy needs to be and whether a given toy is safe for your dog.
- Durability preference: If you want the standard assortment, the classic box fits. If you want tougher items, compare Super Chewer’s offering first.
- Plan commitment: Monthly plans leave you free to stop sooner, while six-month and 12-month plans usually cost less per month but require you to stay for the term.
Once you have picked a plan, run the checkout test above. The discount should be a bonus on a plan you already want, not the reason you subscribe.
