Acer is widely recognized as one of the best laptop manufacturers. They seem to have made quite an impression on laptop lovers due to their unique ability to merge the right features and specifications at a reasonable price.

Fortunately, the Acer Aspire E15 E5-576-392H happens to be one of such laptops with an amazing blend of features and specifications. This laptop is a complete mix of power and efficiency that won’t cost you too much.

Specifically, as of the time I wrote this review in December 2021, the laptop had a starting price of $419. Enough with the introductions, read out to learn more about the Acer Aspire E15 E5-576-392H in subsequent sections below.

Acer Aspire E15 E5-576-392H: Design, Dimension, and Weight

First, it is important to know that the Acer Aspire E15 E5-576-392H is a budget laptop. Therefore, don’t expect too much in terms of design.

Nonetheless, the laptop features a decently-sleek design, although it isn’t a premium design. To give more details, the matte-black plastic chassis of the laptop doesn’t look luxurious.

However, it is refined enough to attract your attention.

Moving on, the Acer Aspire E15 E5-576-392H features a brushed metallic finish on the lid. Furthermore, this lid has a stainless silver Acer logo printed at the mid-right section.

That is just the only thing you will see on the lid of the laptop – simple right? I agree.

Interestingly, when rays of light shine on the laptop’s lid, this stainless Acer logo sends shimmers of silver lines all over the metallic brushed lid. Thus, giving the laptop an elegant look.

Moving on to the interior, the Acer Aspire E15 E5-576-392H features a widescreen 15.6-inch display with FHD (1920 x 1080) resolution. This display screen looks reasonably sharp and vivid – it is perfectly adequate for browsing the web and editing Microsoft Word documents.

Moreover, there is hardly anything to dislike about this laptop’s display asides from its viewing angles. To be more specific, this laptop’s display has very disappointing viewing angles.

The reason for this is that the display is made with a TN panel. Hence, viewing content from the side of the Acer Aspire E15 E5-576-392H’s display will not be enjoyable.

To make matters even worse, this laptop’s 15.6-inch display is surrounded by thick bezels. On a positive note, there is an Acer logo finely placed in the center of the bottom bezel.

Also, in the middle of the top bezel, there is an HD webcam. This HD webcam produces decent picture quality, and it is ideal for video conference calls.

That said, below the display, the Acer Aspire E15 E5-576-392H features a backlit keyboard. Impressively, this keyboard has well-spaced keys that are painted black with white lettering at the top.

Furthermore, the keyboard features a decent amount of key travel. For clarity, key travel is the distance between a key’s resting position and how far it dips when you press it.

Additionally, having the right amount of key travel is important because it affects your typing experience. Overall, the keyboard of the Acer Aspire E15 E5-576-392H will definitely offer users a great typing experience.

Moving on, below the laptop’s keyboard, you will find a mid-sized touchpad with a smooth surface. As far as a budget laptop goes, the Acer Aspire E15 E5-576-392H’s touchpad is very accurate and responsive.

When it comes to the ports, the Acer Aspire E15 E5-576-392H features a wide variety of ports. On the right side of the laptop, there is a USB 2.0 Type-A port as well as a combo audio jack.

Meanwhile, on the left side, you will find 1 USB Type-C port, an HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports, and an Ethernet port.

Measuring 381 x 258.0 x 23.8 mm and weighing 2390.4 g, the Acer Aspire E15 E5-576-392H is pretty heavy and chunky. In fact, the laptop is heavier than most budget laptops in its range.

For example, the Asus Vivobook 15 measures 360 x 235 x 22.90 mm and weighs only 1900 g. Therefore, due to the Acer Aspire E15 E5-576-392H’s heavyweight, you won’t be able to carry the laptop around with ease.

Overall, the Acer Aspire E15 E5-576-392H features a decent design and a variety of ports. However, the laptop’s heavyweight is kind of a flaw.

Therefore, in this design review section, I won’t be rating the Acer Aspire E15 E5-576-392H more than eight out of ten.

Specifically, this laptop will be able to run smoothly with about 15 Google Chrome tabs opened. Impressively, this laptop will continue to run smoothly even though multiple apps are running in the background.

To top that up, the Acer Aspire E15 E5-576-392H won’t show any sign of lagging when switching between the apps and Chrome tabs.

That’s not all though, the laptop also put up quite a performance in a PCMark 8 benchmark test. Briefly, PCMark 8 is a benchmark test that checks how the memory of a computer handles office-related computing tasks and multitasking.

Well, according to PCMark 8 test result, the Acer Aspire E15 E5-576-392H scored 2949 points. In comparison, the Acer Aspire E15 E5-576-392H performs slightly better than the HP 250 G6 which scored 2845 points.
